About a year ago I created a qr code…

About a year ago I created a qr code via Qr.io for my small craft business. I ordered business cards and everything. One week later my qr code was basically deactivated then ransomed requiring a costly subscription to continue using it. They say free, it's not. I reviewed them and was contacted by "Lucy" offering an lifetime premium account in exchange for a modified review and insight. I recently checked my account and low and behold... everything was disabled AGAIN. Contacted Lucy about 8 times going back and forth trying to figure out why my codes were deactivated. She kept saying that everything is fine on their end, that they reinstated things, etc. Every time I would recheck the account it was deactivated. I have screenshots off all emails and the deactivated account. Now she refuses to answer my emails and my account is still deactivated. So not only has this company's incompetence created a need to reorder my business cards and other printed materials, they cost me lost business with a deactivated code. They are deceptive and I cannot tell you enough - STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

For now it's 5/5 stars. Fast, convenient and efficient.If we start asking for monthly fees, fine prints etc., I don't know. I'll update my review.

Deeply disappointed

I signed up for a QR Code IO account for a one off charitable initiative. When the free trial ended I didn’t realised that it had rolled over into a payment plan. This was my mistake. What has shocked me is that QR Code IO continued to charge £46 a month despite ZERO activity on the account. I never received any kind of notification that the plan was rolling on again, despite zero activity on the account. This went on for 4 months costing over £200. I wonder if I hadn’t noticed whether it would have gone on indefinitely. I have asked for a full refund and they have refused. I am deeply disappointed when their systems can see that the account was inactive.
