Review Time
I don't know if the treatment is working or not. I had a question twice and have received no answer. I paid and they're done with me?!Correction: May be it was my email system, but I no sooner posted this when I received an answer. Time will tell how it works. Hope it is great, but don't yet have an opinion. Will eventually test the water and then I'll know if it was worth the cost of purchase and install.
First off, I am confused about why this company seems to operate under 2 different names that appear to be the same business. One is Quality Water Treatment and the other is Softpro Water Systems??I purchased my water softener from them around a year ago. I did a lot of research and also asked them a lot of questions before I actually purchased. They were always quick to respond to any questions I had. Even a month or so after my purchase they were very helpful when I contacted them and a guy named Jeremy even called me and provided some useful info. NOW, a year later and I am having some issues with the unit, and they are missing in action. Either they don't respond to emails or I get some office girl who doesn't seem to know how to answer a question or gives a response and does not even address the question. But they have no problem contacting me with repeated messages trying to sell me something else. They bragged about their lifetime warranty, but it appears that was just sales gimmick. AT THIS POINT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!
Use a credit card when paying, that way when they never ship your order you can have the card company refund your money. Quality water certainty won't refund your money. They just keep telling you" your order is about to ship". Do yourself a favor, and buy somewhere else. Total waste of time. Also these clowns are just middle men, yep no warehouse, no employees, no overhead and certainly NO values for peoples time and money. Just a couple of clowns with a website and a phone line. That's it.
The team at Quality Water Treatment provided excellent service in resolving my water smell issue. Their recommendation for the KDF85 filter was perfect for my well water, and it effectively solved the problem. The response was timely, and the explanations about water quality were clear. Highly recommend for anyone needing water treatment solutions.
Ordering was a little complicated. In the process of determining the best system for our needs, the person helping us, knowing we were buying a system for our kitchen sink, failed to mention that if we had a single handle sink with a garbage disposal we would need to purchase an additional fitting that DOES NOT come with the system. I don't know very many, if ANY, people who DO NOT have a single handle sink with a garbage disposal! We got the system in and then had to wait to install it until we could get in this very special fitting they didn't tell us about. Not only that, when the equipment arrived, the boxes were all knarled up. The straps were dangling and the boxes were crushed in some places and torn in others. We didn't know if the equipment was damaged or not. I think the equipment will work well but the process has not been fun and the cost is a bit higher than expected.
I was considering a couple of softening systems and settled on Quality Water Treatment because of the tech support quick responses prior to the purchase. As a water engineer (PE) I appreciated the answers I received and the promptness that I received them. There was zero difficulty in making the purchase and the shipping schedule was constantly updated to keep me in the loop. Once received I had to delay the installation but once I got to it the customer service was great. Prompt, accurate, and even after hours at times.
This is a very nice softener and a great price. We compared it to another company and that was a joke. They came to our house and gave us the hard sale. When I talked with Softpro, they simply compared their softener. Very smart. So we are happy and had the system for several weeks. I will update in a few months.
