Cancels your insurance 6 months in due to there Black box being at fault. I work away long hours and only drive car at the weekends. Due to the box not been active in the week they have cancelled my insurance on these terms. £260 a month for 12 months and I've wasted 6 of them this is a scam. Also for previous customers they do not have a contact number for customer service it's all AI and emails very bad company run by aviva disappointed is an understatement

They don’t help at all through the live chat , in my opinion it would be better to have a customer service line rather than going to messaging , because it takes too long and also they barely put the work In through messages in my opinion this really drags the company down , by not having a customer service line.

Wow, I mean wow! Got an invitation to renew and it had gone up over 20%. Cancelled the renewal, and received a quote from Quote Me Happy with 60% off! So I am now paying £80 comprehensive for a year.
It definitely pays not to renew automatically.
Very very happy with Quote Me Happy!

I had insurance cancelled due to 2 consecutive 'red' driving weeks with a black box. Not sure how this is possible when the first week the car was broken down and didn't move all week! 1 day into the second week all journeys were above 85 points but still said needs improvement then cancelled the day after. So over £500 out of pocket for an reason at all.

Didn't have an issue with them at first, was really happy with the price considering everywhere else was so much higher, was a bit peeved at the black box marking me down for apparent cornering, harsh breaking and distracted driving despite being stationary at my destination but the issue started when my device wasn't recording trips on my app, I hadn't changed anything and followed the instructions to make sure my phone settings were correct! Got intouch with them NUMEROUS times to say it wasn't working but recieved the same copied and pasted reply of what phone settings I needed even though I stated numerous times that this had been done and still wasn't working! A couple weeks ago I recieved an email with a cancellation warning because I had no recorded trips so I decided to try a different phone to connect to the device and luckily it worked, my trips were being recorded for 4 days for me to then recieve a cancellation email even though I rectified the issue (no thanks to them!) I emailed back saying that my trips had been recording after changing to another phone and they replied with "were still cancelling it". So I've found an insurance company for the same price minus the stupid black box and copy and pasted troubleshooting robotic replies!

Got a really good quote last year, but as is often the case with car insurance, this year's renewal was fairly high.
When I opted to cancel the renewal, there was no offer of any kind for lower quote at all.
Customer service is as bad as it gets.
A chatbot that is of no help whatsoever, serving only to frustrate instead.
You would think that some efforts would be made to retain a customer with over 20 years no claims, but obviously they don't need me.

It's awful I am going to cancel it after only having it 20 days, it won't work with my ford puma cruise control and it flags it as rapid acceleration or deceleration when it is just the cruise control. It also deducts point for using android auto in the car. I have used Hastings black box, marmalade black box and drive score where I am a consistently high scoring driver but I am in the red for this one which risks it being cancelled on me just for using my cars features

The quote should match exactly what is needed, rather than providing a figure and then altering it

Extremely Frustrating Experience Setting Up

As a new customer attempting to configure the app for the black box has been an incredibly frustrating ordeal from the beginning. We are now three days in, and the app still refuses to function! It fails to detect an Internet connection when trying to activate the account. I have sent emails seeking a resolution, yet no one has reached out to me. I am at risk of having the policy canceled because there is no assistance available for an issue that seems to stem from the company's faults rather than my own. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the app, granted all permissions, and restarted my phone. The time I have spent trying to activate an account could easily be resolved if someone would contact me or if there were a number available for general inquiries. The automated bot for inquiries is ineffective in this case, as it simply directs me to send an email to an address I am starting to believe is not even monitored. A very frustrated customer in need of assistance.
