Review Time
It has always been difficult to get answers from this company Now it seems impossible. I never get software update alerts however many times I fill in the form or email them. This time I was unable to email the company Clicking on the contact by email sends you round in circles. There no longer seems to be a contact form. I was unable to download a manual I was unable to login because my password wasn’t recognised. When I tried to update my password this proved impossible too.I inherited Raymarine electronics on the boat I bought and was warned at the time about the difficulties. I hope my next boat will have another company’s products. I can’t imagine why anyone would choose Raymarine
Last year I replaced most of Raymarine kit with the updated Raymarine versions. It only took 7 months for deliveries and I say most as it’s impossible to get all necessary components despite it supposedly being in stock. I’ve spent well over €7,000 so far and still trying to buy another €1600 worth on wind wand, i70s, depth & speed transducer. Dealers are pulling their hair out with Raymarine and recommend other brands such as Garmin. I have a fault logged with my Chartplotter. Nobody coming back. SVB in Germany not doing a great job chasing for me either.
This company simply doesn't get its customers. Or they simply don't care. How can a VHF radio be made, with its frequencies limited to only one nautical region (Europe), without support for US/Canada frequency set? Or why would setting an MMSI number had to involve multiple visits to a Raymarine dealer? I see that I am not the only one having issues with the post-sale support... so will happily replace their aging electronics on my yacht by their competitors, as soon as possible.
One of the worst company support I’ve ever encountered. Bought an Evolution EV 100 wheel autopilot. Two parts were missing from the package. Called support and was told to go back to my retailer and they couldn’t help me. So now I’m left to have to purchase the two missing parts at my own expense.Talk about feeling left out to dry
Customer service is non existent. I have sent an iTC-5 and DST800 in through my local dealer. It was done in December 2022. Raymarine won't even answer when I can expect to get it back or get a new one.I regret buyin raymarine for everything i my main navigation system.I have tried to get an answer three times.If your raymarine equipent don't work when installed or it fails , you are better of, if you go and buy another brand.
