Review Time
I was shown an apartment and left a deposit for it. The following day, I was informed that the owner had changed their mind. I inquired about other options and we scheduled a meeting for another apartment. I specifically asked, "Are you certain we will finalize the contract for this apartment tomorrow and that there won’t be any issues?" They assured me, "Yes." However, the next day, a similar situation occurred, with vague reassurances about signing the contract. I requested my deposit back, and they mentioned that the owner might sign the contract at 6 PM, but it was not guaranteed, leaving me unsure and potentially wasting another day. I decided to take my deposit back and move on.
