I got a Quote last week when I was checking something else. Today when I sent to purchase, I was able to get a discount so have now purchased it. Insurance is a necessary evil. it is something for us to have to have some peace of mind.

Rented a car in Madrid and took out insurance which was at a great price. If your after insurance so u don't pay those crazy rates at the hire car desk this is by far the best way to do it. Often u won't have travel insurance which often covers this as its a short trip or its cheaper to get travel insurance without car excess included and buy it separately from Rental Cover.
These guys are not only affordable but they get to things fast, I have used them in the past but this was the first time I had to see them covering a damaged door we realized was done to the car when returning it. First, I was skeptical to utilize the service as there are 2 main drawbacks
1) RentalCover.com - it is a 3rd party service as we may have to re-imburse the hefty expenses spent
2) No 'Call' support as we may to wait on their Portal communications only.
But surprisingly, i have had clear instructions from Rentalcover.com and followed up with my car dealer to get the necessary documents. Longest waiting time is the document retrieval from dealers. Processing time & response from Rentalcover.com was quick and easy. Appreciate their service and recommend for others
The actual claims process was not that easy and required persistence by me, however, they did come through in the end. It seems like they have a series of boxes that have to be checked and when you rent in a country that doesn't do things the same as the US (ie paperwork), it can be very hard to convince RentalCover.com that you have met the "spirit" of their requirements.
