requested a refund because I never authorised a renewal of my subscription. They refused, claiming their website gives partners an automatic cancellation option before the deadline. That is simply false. I received no notification, no reminder, no warning — they just took the money without a word. This kind of behaviour feels deliberately misleading. Be cautious with this company and protect your money.

You will be asked to pay a minimal amount to create a resume and then they will store your card details to debit aed 100 and auto renew the subscription without your concern, be aware of these fraudsters and save your hard earned money, my money was debited without my concern and after contacting their so called customer service I asked them to cancelled the subscription and refund the amount to which they cancelled the subscription but did not refund my amount
This business has a very deceptive cancelation process. Where you can hit the cancel button go to the following screen where they say you lost access to everything, but then will not cancel your account and will be charged you the following month.
I have been undergoing financial abuse from one of my children. My card info was taken and used on random sites along with various purchases. It was a card that I didn’t not typically use, and when I saw the amount of charges on it, I reported to my bank. This company has not been helpful whatsoever. The product was never used by me and I have still been charged $30. This is very unprofessional and I haven’t ran into this experience before. This company only cares about money. Do not expect them to genuinely cater to their clients. This is awful.
I just got charged under premium pricing after I had cancelled my subscription. I have tried to contact them to no avail, and it seems I will not be reimbursed for this amount.
The resume experience worked just as needed. It is unfortunate, however, that this company is just another scammy website. I paid $2.95 for 7 days of usage... then was billed $30 for a membership 30 days later. Now mark my words, the company is going to reply to this and say it is written somewhere blah blah blah. I don't buy that, it isn't clear and obvious, and other reviewers feel the same. I feel bad for businesses who have to make a extra dollars via scammy tactics, because their product isn't worth it or they aren't good at articulating the value to charge more up front. Two stars.
I had a very bad experience with Resume Builder due to their misleading cancellation process.
I attempted to cancel my monthly subscription. After clicking “Cancel”, I was shown a popup and then redirected to a page called “Where’d we go wrong?”, which looks like an optional feedback form. It is not clearly communicated that selecting a feedback reason is mandatory to complete the cancellation.
If you don’t select a reason, the subscription does NOT get canceled, without any clear warning or confirmation. Because of this dark pattern, my subscription remained active and I was charged again despite my clear intent to cancel.
I contacted support multiple times and provided video evidence showing the exact issue, but I have not received any response for several days.
This feels intentionally deceptive and unacceptable. I do not recommend this service.
I appreciate the product; it's excellent! I might consider subscribing if there's a native integration with job listings and the ability to create a CV from those listings. While manual entry is possible, having this feature would be fantastic. Job searching on LinkedIn has become challenging due to the high number of applicants, and many are filtered out by AI algorithms because of poorly formatted CVs. Implement this feature, and it could attract significant attention. Best wishes, and please inform me when shares become available.
