Review Time
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience.
They came to my property to carry out an EPC survey to assess eligibility for insulation. The survey itself went well - the gentleman who visited was friendly and polite, and shortly afterwards I was informed that we were eligible.
However, due to having young children and a very busy schedule, I wasn’t able to respond immediately. In what felt like a very short space of time, I was then told that materials had already been ordered and that I had been booked in for the work - without me signing anything or giving any formal agreement to proceed. I was completely shocked. Why would a company order materials and schedule a job without clear confirmation from the homeowner?
After doing further research and reading other reviews, I decided the insulation wouldn’t be suitable for us. I became concerned about how much smaller it would make the room and the issue of a doorframe being too close to the wall. I explained this once I had the chance.
Instead of understanding, I was told that they had already spent hours on this and that the least I could do was take a call the next day. I clearly explained that it wasn’t a good week for me and that I wouldn’t be available for a phone call. That should have been respected.
Unfortunately, they continued to press the issue. This week happens to be the anniversary of my son’s death - something deeply personal that I did not initially feel I should have to explain. When I reiterated that I would not be taking a call and that I had never agreed to the work, the response I received was extremely rude. I was told it was unfair of me to “put that on him” and that my message was disgraceful.
At no point did I sign or agree to any contract. I feel the company acted prematurely and then handled the situation very unprofessionally when I chose not to proceed.
Based on my experience, I believe I have dodged a bullet. I would strongly advise others to be cautious and ensure nothing is progressed without explicit written agreement.

Cannot thank these guys enough for my new boiler! I am super chuffed. From the first phone enquiry to the day of installation, I couldn't believe how quick and easy the whole process was! What a fantastic, friendly and very professional service! I highly recommend these guys.
Not regarding to anyone.Just be aware people of this company. They come over to do insulation in my property and they destroy our paving and leave our garden in total mess. Run like rats away from my property and don't even let us know that they finished the job because they know what they done. Contacted the company and they refused to fix it and of course they said they not done anything.People be aware
The company and the work team were amazing. I was dreading having my boiler replaced, however this was made really easy by the organised manner in which the work was carried out. I would have no worries in sending anyone to them to have work carried out. Thank you so much, so pleased with the result. Shirley
Free new boiler and loft insulation carried out on 9th, June. Company recommended by Gerry, really helpful. Mellissa in office guided me through the whole procedure. David the engineer and other workers were first class, keeping me informed about work getting done. Would highly recommend the company.
A big thank you to Retrofit Group who fitted our loft insulation, a new boiler, extractor fans in both bathroom and kitchen, and also trickle vents in all windows inside and outside plus a heating element beneath a cupboard in the kitchen, which was provided through the Eco 4 system, all the workmen were very thorough and tidied up after they were finished. The heating engineer started at 8am and as it was a big job didn't finish till 7.45pm ensuring everything was working even the office staff were 1st class in their communications .
