Rex’s boarding facility is exceptional. Our young German Shepherd Dog struggled with separation anxiety after we lost our other two dogs, leaving him alone for the first time. The team at Rex’s provided outstanding care and helped him adjust, keeping us informed with updates whenever we requested. He has now stayed there three times and is already booked for a fourth, as he thoroughly enjoys it and returns content and well-cared for. We wholeheartedly recommend Rex’s and wouldn't consider any other place!

Took my beloved dogs to this hotel for…

Took my beloved dogs to this hotel for the 1st and last time earlier this year , gave clear verbal and written instructions for the care of my babies. Some my say I'm a little over protective of them but I've never left them before and this was a 1st for me to do,I gave all instructions on medication playtime but especially feeding instructions, NOT TO FEED THE DOGS TOGETHER AS THEY WILL FIGHT. for 3 days they were ok but then a staff member didn't correctly read the instructions given and fed them together causing an enormous fight between the dogs. One of the dogs were badly hurt. They took my dog to the vets and gave minimal treatment to the dog. We asked for the dogs to be split up in a separate kennel but were told there was no way this could happen as they were at full capacity so they put the dogs back together and they fought again after being left. Then they decided to put my dog in a create in the kennels kitchen alone with no pain killers only an injection of antibiotics from the 1st fight we only were told about the 2nd fight and said they treated him themselves who made them vets i don't know , my poor dog would have been in agony from the wounds caused from the 1st fight. When our dogs returned to us our dog eye was completely covered and clouded over .. they said they had taken him to the vets the night before bringing him home and the vet just put drops in his eye but again no pain killers because we the owners wanted to take him to our own vets we did want to make sure he was OK from the 1st fight . He clearly wasn't we broke down our dog couldn't walk he's was shaking in extreme pain he could stand and hold his own weight. We took him to our own vets and he had a complete check over and our vet was so disgusted in the state our dog was in instantly contact the vets rex pet took him to, to be told they were told to give him minimal treatment so the did as they were told by rex pets. When the dogs were returned the state of his eye was do bad rex pet said thier vet had told them our dog had a tumor behind the eye. This was said by them with not clear check up and no scans etc, we were heartbroken our dog wet himself because he could walk he couldn't eat or drink we had to stay up all night with him and cringe feed him water because he was so dehydrated. We took our baby 1st thing to the vets were when he got checked over he had over 30 puncher wounds that had gone through to the bone and caused bad bone infections. And his eye wasn't cancerous it was an eye ulcer covering the whole eye with wound have been excruciating painful for him with no painkillers or medication. The rex pet said they would pay all vet bills as they took full responsibility for the 1st fight because they caused it by not reading instructions correctly. My dog had to be create rested for 6 weeks because if his eye was caught it could easily exploded. We had to put painkillers and antibiotics and creams in his eyes every 2 hours to try and save his eye which we did we saved the eye from being removed but he is blind in it now and his legs are covered in scars.thi all could have been completely avoided the rex pet said they would pay any vets bills when leaving thier kennels but because the bills went on for 8 weeks they refused to pay any of the vet bills for our mistreated baby. The hotel ignore our letters and haven't received a penny. They did pay £380 back to us for our injured dog and thier minimal treatment but nothing for the 8 week afterwards in treatment. Which totaled to nearly £1000 we paid out ourselves she said she did enough for my dogs and tried to blame us because we told them to put them back together which was pure fabrication they told us they were full so put our dog in a create on his own in a kennels kitchen. Just beware fully aware of our situation because we're ever there's good reviews also read the bad... and mine were extremely bad to the point we thought our baby was going to die in the 1st 48hrs back home.other this happened to with my 3 dogs to the point we had to rehome one of my babies, if you would like anymore information please feel free to ask inclusive of photos and photos of conversation etc . Its not a conversation they can talk thier way out of the situation even tho they will probably try to lie there way out of the treatment of our dogs .

Three Happy Puppers

When our three girls arrive at Rex Pet Hotel, they don’t look back or say good bye even !! When we collect them they look happy and healthy. We recently took them for two nights and have already booked them in June for three nights. We know we can go on holiday feeling reassured and relaxed that our girls are in the best hands. Thank you to everyone at Rex Pet Hotel 🙏🙏

Excellent and caring Kennels

We have been using Rex Pet Hotel since 2018 when our dogs were babies. Our dogs when dropped off, never give us a second glance when they got out of the car and went to their suite. This is a true testament to Louise and her staff. They treat our dogs as if they were their own and as a dog owner this is what you want when you go away and leave them. We have complete reassurance that they are in good hands and this is continued by regular photographs and updates of them whilst they are in their care. We actually believe that our dogs love going there and for them it’s a little holiday where they get lots of cuddles and attention from the wonderful staff. Nothing is too much trouble especially as one of our dogs has several medical issues and needs timed meds. We don’t book a holiday before we make sure that Louise can accommodate our girls. Quite simply, we would be lost without RexPet Hotel. Louise has a marvellous establishment with wonderful, caring staff. Thoroughly recommended.

I've been a customer of Rex Pet Hotel…

I've been a customer of Rex Pet Hotel for over 10 years and would not send my beloved dog anywhere else. It is a warm, comfortable, safe and secure environment the caters for the needs of each dog. Prices are reasonable, staff are professional and my dog has lots of fun and love when she is there. I also use the grooming service which is 1st class. I cannot recommend them highly enough

Amazing boarding facility! Highly recommend

Absolutely amazing boarding facility. Our young GSD had separation anxiety due to loosing our 2 other dogs and him being on his own for the first time in his life. The staff at Rex’s was amazing with him and really helped him settle in and provided us with updates whenever we asked. He’s now stayed with them 3 times and booked in for a 4th time as he loves the place and always comes back happy and well looked after!! Highly recommend and will never use anywhere else!
