Review Time
I bought the set for £99.00. I got three face clothes, a cleanser balm, a nighttime moisturiser, the green magic, and a brush. So I have been struggling since last November with dermatitis on my forehead going down towards my eyes and nose. It’s been very dry and itchy, and no matter what kind of moisturiser I’ve put on, it is constantly flaky, inflamed, and red. My set arrived yesterday, and I couldn’t wait to try it. I started with the face balm cleanser. I left it on for five minutes, then wiped it away with one of the cloths and warm water and let my face dry naturally. I applied the nighttime moisturiser, and wow, this morning is the first morning I’ve woken up, and I have not got dry, flaky, inflamed patches on my nose, forehead, and around my eyes. I know it is only day one, but I’m holding out hope for this. I wanted to share my positive experience with anyone else who might be struggling with rosacea, eczema, or dermatitis.The balm is lovely I love the smell. And the night cream too. Very impressed.
What has Rosalique done?! They have changed the formula in a product that worked so so well to a product that offers no coverage. I've tried layering it on, no dofference it doesn't cover the redness. I used to be able to wear it by itself and it covered the redness. Not anymore.
Sadly I had the same experience as other users.... the product is a thick paste that turns a dirty brown on your face. It looked like a bad fake tan and left my face feeling sticky. Had to wash it off straight away as my husband said it looked so bad that I shouldn't leave the house!
The original formula was incredible but since they have changed the formula recently, it's terrible.... It's dry, doesn't spread properly. At first I thought there was something wrong with it until I realised they had changed the formula. Why do this?I have bought two since they changed the formula but I won't buy anymore. There must be better options.
I tried this product because of the hype and was extremely disappointed. The product is very thick and difficult to smooth on and once the ‘green’ had disappeared it left my skin looking muddy. I was fortunate to be able to get a refund otherwise I would have been very unhappy
The cleanser is incredibly oily and very difficult to remove. The miracle cream leaves the face looking dirty and doesn’t cover the red in the slightest. I only have very mild redness to my cheeks so if it can’t cover that then I don’t see how it would help with rosacea. I wish I had seen these reviews before buying but I unfortunately went off the Facebook comments which I think are probably bots. Nearly every comment mentions great customer service but you shouldn’t need to be contacting customer service with a decent product. I left a review when they asked for one and they had the cheek to email back recommending I buy another cleanser from their sister company to remove the oily cleanser. It also had step by step instructions on how to wash your face, highly patronising! No offer of a refund and they didn’t mention my concerns about the miracle cream not covering redness and leaving the skin dirty looking even with a small amount. Waste of £75 for the set!
Not for those of us with fair complexion, very dark when applied and did not reduce redness. Bit of a sham. Would probably only suit someone with sallow complexion, and I would question it's other claims as it did nothing for my rosacea. So sorry I wasted my money.
I’ve used Rosalique for years with great results for my rosacea. However, I’ve noticed some issues with consistency recently, as a few tubes seemed faulty. While the product has its flaws, their customer service was helpful, and it's still worth considering. The formula works well overall and has a lovely finish when it's right.
Like a lot of other reviews here recently, I too probably have a new tube from a faulty batch - something which Rosalique mention in one of their replies to a review further down. Rosalique - have you now resolved / recalled the faulty tubes of very thick product? FYI I live in the south east, in case this is a geographical logistic stock problem etc. I really miss using this product but there’s no way I can use my current tube. It’s way too thick and so dry. It would be great to get a response.
