Review Time
I keep receiving requests to review on the Dutch site, but since I don’t know Dutch, I’ll write in English. I have bought several times from this company (previously Saber Theory). Their products are high quality, and the customer service has always been excellent. They offer a great variety of hilts, including popular movie models. If you're worried about cost, just be patient for regular promotions. Other sites may have models not available here, but they are often much pricier. Do your research to make an informed choice.
Great products. The sabers are high quality and will look amazing as a display piece or to ignite and swing around. No complaints about the product itself. However, what isn't clear until you make a purchase, is that this is a dropshippjng company. They do not manufacture the sabers, they have them made and shipped by another company and just sell them from their own website. While this isn't a bad thing, it does mean that any issues with the product can take a very very long time to fix, and some information on the website isnt 100% correct. My Luke ep6 saber arrived 3 weeks after ordering, but was missing a part. After a very long email chain with an excessive amount of evidence provided, sabertheory finally decided to get the manufacturer to send a replacement part, which was then sent to the wrong address. The person I was in communication with from sabertheory was very helpful and polite and made a huge effort to help me though so that was great from sabertheory. When I did finally receive the missing part, it had been nearly 4 months since my original order. The incorrect information refers to the other sabers that came with my luke ep6 saber. The guardian 2 pair was listed as 1 xenopixel and 1 baselit. However, the xenopixel is not actually compatible with the xenopixel app, and this issue has been reported by other people who bought this particular saber. To summarise, I recommend buying from sabertheory, but it is better to spend a bit more to get a movie replica saber, as these have a higher build quality, electronics, and changeable parts compared to the original design sabers on the website.
I ordered from this site only because of the buy one get one or two sabers deal. The prices were reasonable, the hilts and everything is high quality and beautiful. My only issue that i had was the waiting for it to process, because it was my first time ordering and i read good and bad reviews of this site so i didn't know it was legit or not. But it was after the processing stage everything went smoothly it even arrived earlier then it was expected. Overall a great experience.
Got the Luke Xenopixel saber and got the Knight I (RGB) for free with the promotion. I also got another Ani saber from the same manufacturer which shares much of the same feedback as the Luke saber. In short, they're both great!Aside from a little scratch/chip on one of the emitters for Luke's saber, both sabers are amazing. Customer support was also very responsive, friendly and helpful (shoutout to Jaz!) Really appreciate the effort and energy she put out :)Unfortunately neither the Saber Company nor the manufacturers sell replacement emitters for Luke's saber, but the support team happily offered a $10 refund which is nice of them. The Xenopixel sabers (and the Knight I) are compatible with the Xeno app, which works but isn't the most reliable (for me). The saber needs to be super close to the phone, and even then there's a chance it'll take a multiple tries to connect. Just for reference, I know a few friends who got 2 button Proffie (Kal and Ahsoka) sabers from another reseller (won't name here, but he is very popular) for more than double the price. The second button gets in the way when you grip it, it's hard to change colors and settings without the plugging it into the computer, and one of the Ahsoka sabers couldn't turn off or change after a while. (My Luke, Ani, and Knight I sabers are single button Xenopixels. Luke and Ani's saber button is placed very well. You can twirl and swing with no issues with the button getting in the way).So... compared to those sabers my friends got, I'm very happy with what I got.Tips for those looking to buy: If you care about immersion, roleplaying, or a screen accurate experience, the Xenopixel is your best bet. If you have more budget and you are willing to put in the effort to plug the SD card into your computer, and want to the ability to fully customize your blade animations with programming, you can opt for the Proffie. The RGB sabers are lighter, but the lighting dims as you go up the blade, the tip is also awkwardly lit, and there is no scrolling ignition/deactivation effect on the blade. The major benefit for RGB is that you can use the saber as recklessly as you want, given that the hollow blade is cheap and replaceable. The saber is also a flashlight so there's little risk in damaging any circuitry.
Winning the Lightsabor was such a highlight to my and my families month as we've been dealing with some stressful situations. This simple thing brought some excitement back into our week. Sounds silly but it really was great timing and a blessing! And its also brought us together for more family time as now we all have lightsabors to duel with!!
