I disliked the booking procedure. The first issue is that on the website of the camping itself, Les Alicourts, it was unclear that this camping has been taken over by Sandaya. I found out by coincidence that Sandaya took over Les Alicourts, so that I needed to go to the Sandaya website to book now. Then on the site of Sandaya I found it unclear that the website was also just in Dutch; sandaya.nl. Now when booking I paid using a QR code on the screen. When you pay using this QR code, Sandaya does not actually register your booking. Or actually it does register it but you do not get any kind of confirmation other than a confirmation of the payment that has been received. This is some kind of bug when paying via the QR code; obviously you should get a confirmation of your booking. Now the next day you actually do get that confirmation. That's fine, but the whole processes should be much clearer and you should not be left in the dark with the status of your booking.
It is quiet hard to get in touch about available pitches. We sended an email 2 weeks ago, after having contact through telephone with the general telefonist. We did not get a reply. Now they told us that in case we did a booking we would be called back to talk over the available pitches. So we booked and payed a extra 30 euro. We only got a general email in stead of being called. So not saticified about the reservation procedure.It would make things easier if the camping map had numbers on the pitches and if you could see which numbers were available...Working phonelines and answering emails would help too....
