In my experience, working for this company was extremely difficult and not what I was led to expect.

In my experience, working for this company was extremely difficult and not what I was led to expect. From the outset, I felt misled about working conditions and the realities of the role. I was frequently placed in situations that I personally felt were unsafe, and management decisions often left drivers dealing with the consequences rather than addressing underlying issues.

When problems arose, responsibility was regularly pushed onto drivers instead of being handled at a management level. My engagement with the company ended abruptly, and I felt I was treated unfairly in circumstances that were largely outside my control.

I also experienced ongoing issues with vehicle rental and invoicing. There were repeated discrepancies and delays in payment for work I had already completed, which caused significant stress and uncertainty.

Overall, based on my own experience, I found the environment disorganised, unsupportive, and very difficult to work in. I would strongly encourage anyone considering working here to carefully research and ask detailed questions before making a decision.

I am completely outraged by the way…

I am completely outraged by the way Amazon SBL operates. It is unbelievable that a single customer complaint — claiming that the driver did not ask for ID when delivering an age-restricted item — leads to the driver being instantly terminated. No investigation, no fair process, no opportunity for the driver to defend themselves. Just immediate punishment without any proof. This is deeply unfair and absolutely unacceptable from a company as large as Amazon. The SBL system is flawed, rigid, and puts people’s livelihoods at risk over one alleged incident. Instead of checking facts or allowing a driver to explain what really happened, Amazon simply takes the customer’s word and ends a contract on the spot.A company that relies on thousands of hardworking delivery drivers should support them, not treat them as disposable. Amazon SBL needs to rethink its policies and start valuing the people who keep their business running every single day.

I started working at the company 2…

I started working at the company 2 mounts ago. I had to deliver 300 parcels a day, with 180-190 stops. The maximum was 360 parcels, with 198 stops. Yesterday morning I was surprised to see in the application that they wanted to send me 50 miles from the original area. That means an extra hour to go there, an extra hour to come back. 2 extra hours for free! No one told me in advance and they wanted to force me to do this day. They said it was just a little help they were asking for. I said I wouldn't do this job. The answer was to hand it over the next day in old London. Good luck to everyone at this company! They will rip your guts out and that's what you deserve! Great job! Congratulations to the two little bosses! This is the highest position of their lives! 😀

Stay away from this company.

I've just recently left sbl, im just writing this review to save some of you that are thinking of joining, please dont waste your time, lot of promises from management but no results, they only look after their kind, they charge £500 deposit for van and you start work with two weeks in arrears of payment, which they say that when you leave work you'll still get two week of payment. But you can kiss the initial £500 deposit and the two weeks in arrears goodbye, because they will make up bullshit on van damages. If you get PCN they will rob you extra £30 for admin fee. Please stay away from this company. They've got their own kind that get 5 to 6 days work without fail every week, and give us 3 to 4 days work, which majority of it goes to your weekly van rent and you are left with peanuts, plus they will give their people easy routes everyday and their day will be done in 3 to 4 hours, where as you are grafting for 8 to 9 hours. Please save yourself the hassle of literally begging for shifts as cost of living has gone up. Please dont just go by my experience, you can read all reviews on here and majority if not all have had similar experience.

The good the bad and the ugly.

Heard good reports in respect to their deliveries but omg twice today nearly been run off the road and had one so close behind on a dark winding country lane we could have had a chat. Presume they’re from the Gateshead depot me being north of the Tyne. Yes guys I know it’s the Christmas rush but we all want to go home safe to our families you included.

Disgusting company

Disgusting company. You will be leaving the depot 12 hours later, they will charge you ridiculous things, will no pay you what its own, heavy lifting to unreasonable places, will block all their phones if you have a complaint. The public should know this company is disgusting with it employees and its exploiting them. Amazon should also know this and the Government should pay a visit.to ex-employees please make a complaint to GOV.UK Pay and Work Rights helpline. To ACAS & Health and Safety Executive (HSE) as well. Lets get these people accountable. Also write to Amazon and other companies that use their services.Note: those giving 5* are well know disgusting managers/employees of the company

Non- delivery company

I think this company has partnered with ArrowXL. My delivery from ArrowXL never turned up, a week later this van turns up with my items - damaged. Just going to stick company’s who have there own delivery firm too, like Argos, Curry’s etc.
