It's a beautiful coat! I look forward to wearing it on the plane to Paris & not getting pickpocketted during the year I am there. The only thing I would change is to make the outside hip pockets in two levels so that I can put my keys in my pocketceithout them going all the way down to the hem.
Didn't like that I had to pay for return. Wanted another size, but was thinking if that didn't work either..........there I would go again paying postage to return. Not thoroughly satisfied with husbands jacket either, but he said it was ok and he didn't want to have to return. Won't order again because of this.
It's a great dress, fit is good and the fabric and construction seem sturdy. I like the length of it, covers the knees but not long enough to be dowdy. The price is a bit more than I would normally expect to pay for a cotton knit dress, but the extra pockets add value. It's so hard to find any dress or skirt with pockets at all, let alone nice deep ones like this dress has, that don't look bulky. Would love to see the line expand with dresses with different sleeve lengths, more tailored skirts, and a constructed jacket rather than the loose drapey sweaters.
I have long looked for a vest with pockets for occasions when I don't want to have to carry a purse. I have finally found just what I was looking for. The Travel Vest from ScotteVest isn't a vest to which someone applied a lot of pockets - it's an incredible well thought out system. For example, through a space between the jacket and lining, it is possible to have a cord connect from a surplus battery in one pocket plug into a phone or tablet in another, or run the earbud cords so they are at the ready. If there is something closed with velcro, there is a tab to pull to open it. There is a chamois tethered into the glasses pocket printed with a map of all the pockets. There is also a RFID blocking pocket for your credit cards and passport. All but 3 of the pockets are located on the inside of the vest (there are 2 handwarmer pockets and a pocket on the back that are reached from the outside), so you will have to reach inside your vest to access them, but that also makes them more secure. The vest is a good year round weight (they do have heavier and lighter weight options). The pockets are laid out in a way so that the weight is well balanced. I read reviews that the women's vest runs small so I ordered up a size and it is large enough to fit comfortably over a sweater.
Nice weight, good for all kinds of SoCal weather! Ordered one size larger and can still layer it both under and over jackets/sweaters.Drawback is/are pockets within pockets which I don’t use or understand. Nonetheless, the vest gets a 5-star rating from me!
