Review Time
Initially my kit came with some problems (moldy, hard clay and lumpy white paint) but the issues were resolved almost immediately when i reached out to customer service. They sent me replacements to the items that were unusable. It’s rare to have great support for customers these days!
So far my experience with this product has been less than reassuring. I ordered a large group set for €175 for my friend's hen. The website clearly states that shipping is between 2/3 days, however when you go to pay it cites the length as 7 days. I ordered it anyway, as the hen was more than 7 days away. After a week and a half no email had come through with tracking. I emailed the company enquiring about my package, but no response. The hen came and went without the sets. I then received a tracking number a couple days later, but there was no information when I clicked in. It's been 17 days since ordering. I'm sure if the sets arrive they will be great fun etc, but I'm not sure it's worth the risk, I've heard some horror stories of the company never responding, or not processing refunds. I would recommend getting this product through a third party seller, as I do think they seem like fun and complete sets.Order at your own risk
A couple of weeks ago, I ordered a Pottery Starter Bundle for a daughter who lives in another Province. Unfortunately something went wrong with the delivery and she did not receive it. So I emailed Sculpd to let them know. Their response, from Giles in the Customer Service Team, was superb. I sent my email at 3.04pm and, just 27 minutes later, I received confirmation that a new order had been organized. It was delivered just three days later.
I accidentally got two sculpd packages - great packages and a wonderful gift. However I only meant to get one. I attempted to return one via the returns guide online. Unfortunately there was an issue with evri but when I tried to contact the company I have not heard anything back to help with this issue.
A great experience and introduction to Sculpd with Ellie at their first UK in person event. I was so pleased to find out their event was local to me, I loved having the opportunity to learn something new which I could take away and develop at home. Using their sculpd clay kit I have made a lovely plant pot, and have been equipped with the knowledge and techniques to create sculptures from clay, I look forward to ordering another 1kg of clay for my next project.
