Takes a long time to get good enough to attempt the story line! even then, the story was bugged and I couldn't get past the 2nd story I attempted. 1hr, and 45min of trying. Restart the mission then the mechanics don't work and I can't even place the mermaid gem now. Lol .the story requires you to dive deep, underwater and leave your boat unattended, so anyone can sink you. Cheaters everywhere. I log back in every 2 years or so. Then remember why I Uninstall. And never spent any money on this game.

Terrible Company and People

Terrible company. After dumping 2 thousand hours into Sea of Thieves and easily £300+ on mirotransactions when xbox my account got hacked they do absolutely nothing to help you get your progress back. For a company that only has one thing going for them which is Sea of Thieves you would imagine they had some consideration for their customers that put their food on the table. I was a very dedicated player with no bad records and I was hoping to soon become a completionist. I was a insider and collected twitch drops all the way back from 2021. It is batheling that after providing the customer service with mighty stacks of evidence proving my claim they could care less and not even crack a statement longer than a sentence. If you want to play Sea of Thieves, go ahead. But I advise against buying cosmetics and getting too attached to your pirates. Along with what I have said above, in 2025 the company is providing to be very incompetent in managing its game. Season 17 is one of the worst seasons by opinions of many and more so than ever the people that once had love for this game would rather play other games as the content is uninspired and repetitive at best with little to no reward other than a cool hat or cutlass which is usually a re-skin of an already existing cosmetic. As things stand now Sea of Thieves wont last another 10 years and Rare wont last 5.

Helpdesk Staff are Awesome.

I was being a total idiot trying to link the wrong account but within the space of 48 hours max of raising a ticket, I’d resolved the issue and even been helped into figuring out which is the correct account. Absolute legends on their helpdesk.

Money theft. Big Scam, dont cash!

Got permanently banned after purchasing season pass & some cosmetics. Money gone.complete scam, no reason for the ban, played this game from time to time since 3 years or so, never again

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I’ve had many bugs and issues with a variety of skins and commendations in the game, most of them go unsolved and some of them takes years and many tickets to be resolved such as server crashing, commendations not loading, being given wrong twitch drops due to stupidity and lack of care by customer service, I’ve been given the wrong Bear & Bird (Legacy figurehead) for 4 years and tried to get the original back the only issue is that they gave me the wrong one from the emporium with exact same name. I’ve been yellow bearded 5 times due to a variety of reasons all stemming from players being inferior to weapons combat and getting their feelings hurt so they try to manipulate proof and videos to try and get me down. I’ve had plenty of players who tried to impersonate me and cheat, I’ve only ever supported this game but in the end they just red beard me for “toxic behavior”. I’ve never once gotten a “sorry” from customer support due to their lack of care. I doubt this is the only case of such. Whoever works at support seems to really hate their job. When they can’t ban actual cheaters they go for innocent players like me since we’re easier to get rid off even though it’s people like me who put the money in their pockets

Best Game I Ever Played

Best Game I Ever Played. All the people that gave this game a bad review really don't know what they are talking about. PVP is a part of the game and a very essential part of the game. The game would be boring if PVP was not in the game, what im trying to say there would be no challenge in this game if pvp were not a thing

Absolutely to change the PVE / PVP…

Absolutely to change the PVE / PVP system.Don't get me wrong, this game is very well made, but, the fact that is forcing me to play pvp/pve in the same session is ABSURD.I usually find campers or cheaters well hidden and camped in the spawn points.As soon as you touch the land, they'll grief everything from you. (hours of gameplay lost).This is a HUGE problem, i usually play solo, and i enjoy to take my time to complete the missions, but if i have to take care of campers 24/7 i prefer to change game.Goodbye, and thank you for your refund!
