Just completed a FANTASTIC trip to Sri Lanka with Selective Asia. This is not our first adventure with them and it won't be our last. From initial enquiries to booking the trip and correspondence throughout their knowledge, attitude and attention to detail is exemplary. Every journey to Asia seems to open up a new avenues for us and having Nick, Priya and Kevin and the team guide us along the way, really takes the stress out of travel allowing us to enjoy every step of the journey. A particular highlight for us was staying at the 'Mud House' an eco lodge where you really feel at one with Sri Lankas incredible nature. As ever the only regret is having to come home. Top holiday, top advice, top company. Would recommend!!

I was impessed with their web site but this is were the good ends,contacted this company to arrange a holiday through the middle east on to india, thailand and beyond spent time explaining my needs and a very poor quote was returned missing out most of my requests and needs, wasted my time ( considdering my budget was around 25k!) in my oppinion this company has poor knowledge, experience and acctually wants people whom want a standard holiday package and do not posses the skills and knowledge to arrange custom packages, there are plenty out there who do but this is not one of them!
Selective Asia helped me design and book our family trip of a lifetime to Indonesia this year. We combined a 9 day Komodo archipelago sailing adventure with the excellent Sea Trek Bali team along with exploring some of Bali's lesser visited spots like Sidemen and Nusa Ceningan. We have two teenage boys and Selective Asia took all our different needs into consideration when making recommendations and it worked seamlessly. Thank you Selective Asia!
Just got back from a fantastic trip to Vietnam with Selective Asia - my first visit to the country - and want to thank the team for putting together such a brilliant itinerary. I travelled top to bottom, from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, with brilliant highlights in Mai Chau and Hoi An, and ate myself silly on fantastic food along the way!
Selective Asia arranged a wonderful family holiday for us in Vietnam accompanied by three knowledgeable, fun and enthusiastic tour guides. Hanoi was busy and bustling before we headed to the calm of the countryside for a few days an finally onto the beach in Da Nang. The organisation was faultless and we experienced a real taste of northern Vietnam. Can't wait to go back and visit the south!
Cambodian nightmare. We were sent to Viroths who tried to cheat me, followed by La Passion Koh Rong which was totally infested with sand flies, to the extent I nearly had to seek medical help, and finally to Kni Bang Chat in Kep which was a like living on a building site with pile drivers going 8am to5pm. Cost for the 14 days £10k +. I suggest you Select another travel agent. These people are a total LIABILITY. Offered me £100 compensation and referred me to terms and conditions. You have been warned.
I can't say enough good things about Selective Asia. I have used their services twice now, both extensive and lengthy trips(6 to 7 weeks each). We were always well taken care of, the local guides they used we so knowledgeable and had a genuine love for their home. The app they use gives you everything about where you are staying and doing each day, right at your fingertips. The accommodations were great, even in the middle of the Borneo jungle. I am hoping to do another trip and will definitely be contacting Selective Asia again. I trust their knowledge and they have an amazing network of contacts. Selective Asia works with you and your budget to make a trip full of sweet memories.
Three retired Canadian ladies were fortunate enough to book two incredible trips through Carl with Selective Asia. Each trip was roughly seven weeks long and impeccably planned. We had regular contact with Carl who ensured the trip satisfied each of our wishes. Every detail throughout both trips was discussed and the itinerary was clear and carefully thought out, specific to our wants and needs. The trip itself, including the guides, the translators, the cruises, the accommodation and the tours were second to none and a lifetime experience. At one point, one of my travel companions injured herself. We had constant communication with the company and modifications necessary were immediately handled professionally and compassionately. Also, I was celebrating a milestone birthday and unaware that my family wanted to create some special experiences for me. Carl was kind enough to give contact information to my daughter to organize the experiences directly allowing for a reduced cost. This was extremely thoughtful of Selective Asia and allowed my family to afford additional special experiences for my birthday. Selective Asia is also extremely conscious of our environmental footprint and ensures the trip is as eco friendly as possible while contributing to environmental causes. An enormous thank you to Selective Asia who went above and beyond our expectations! We will continue to book our adventures through this organization!
