Report the sites that scam you, so they can’t scam others, at the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center! ic3.govI was admittedly ~almost~ duped by supportpets.com (apparently previously servicepetverified.com), but didn’t go all the way through after the survey where they said, immediately, that my dog was qualified. I’ve been immediately approved for a credit card (directly, from a trusted, big name credit issuer), but this is different, so I was suspicious. I should have been more careful earlier- I usually am, but I’ve thought about getting an ESA letter for a while now, and their site and promises just looked so good.I can’t report supportpets to IC3, as I didn’t actually go through and get scammed (they want name, phone number, money amount, etc, of the person scammed, who the money was sent to, etc, etc). But if you have, help others by helping to get these kinds of sites shut down!
A scam company, apparently changed it's website to supportpets.com. Once paid, I received an automated phone call and text saying that my ESA was approved and the documents have been emailed. However no such email exists and no documents provided. Have not gotten any response from their contact page on site, nor from the support email address they provided. One red flag is they will entice with a 50% off deal with a time limit to redeem in order distract from critical thinking.
