Spammers. I would not trust this company.UPDATE : I have updated my review from one star to two as the company did very promptly reply and apologise for the spam email. But its still disgraceful that this company are using an email database from the USA that is clearly not GDPR compliant.
I registered a new company on Companies House for family assets this week, and within 48 hours of Companies House confirming the new limited company was set up, I was receiving postal spam from Sherwin Currid, who presumably crawl the Companies House Register and spam new companies with advertising postal mail.I didn't ask to be contacted, I don't want you having my details harvested from Companies House to sell on and I certainly don't want to use your services after this experience.
Had an appointment booked for 3 weeks, received an invoice (and email with due date in the subject title) stating payment due after the appointment but they cancelled a few minutes before on the basis I hadn't paid. When I explained the situation they refused to offer any flexibility and wouldn't take the appointment until I paid (by which point it was 10 minutes into the hour long appointment and would have used up a load more time to make payment). Despite acknowledging invoicing 'error' wouldn't offer any flexibility. Complete waste of my time.
I have been in business for over 20 years and have had a few accountants before I came to Sherwin Currid Accountany in 2017. I have found my questions answered expertly and timely, all tax returns and accounts done correctly with timely and reasonable fees. They are a great partner for my business, I would not hesitate to recommend.
I was a customer of sherwincurrid for 12 years, ended up moving away all my accounts from them. They are solely interested in charging customers huge amount of money and provide poor service & a absolutely dishonest business run by partners. I am also reporting them to ACCA. Such companies must not exist.
