I've been a devoted fan of Space 1999 since its initial airing in the US. I've owned the previous DVD editions and now have the Blu-ray collections for both seasons. I'm thrilled to see the pilot being offered in 4K UHD. On a well-equipped media center, the restoration quality is outstanding. Although it’s pricey for a single episode, I'm eagerly anticipating the release of both seasons in 4K UHD. The delivery was quicker than expected, and I was kept updated on my order throughout the process.

The customer service is excellent, though, as others have noted, communication about delays in pre-orders could be improved. Generally, customers are understanding of delays when provided with a brief explanation and a new expected release date. In summary, this is a fantastic offering for enthusiasts of any of Gerry Anderson's productions!
