I’m a big fan of the benefits of mushrooms having experienced it myself firsthand but had been struggling to find ones suitable for kids so was really pleased when I came across Shroom Iq. Having tried various kids vitamins over the years with no success, as told each time that they were disgusting, I was over the moon when both of my kids said “mum these are banging!” Both kids happily take them each morning and my older son loves that he has ones which are specifically for older kids (oh the joys of sibling rivalry!) Early days yet so can’t comment on any changes but hoping the effects are as banging as the taste!
I was considering buying these gummies but when I decided to look into the company a bit more I was shocked to find that the "experts" they picture and name - even including the Dr who formulated it - appear to be entirely fabricated by AI. I use AI regularly at work and have become very good at spotting the hallmarks of AI images. Also the names of these "experts" don't appear anywhere else in Google. AI is a useful tool but shouldn't be used to lie to customers.If they're possibly willing to lie about the experts, what else can't I trust about this company? This is my child's health, trust is so important. I would love the company to prove me wrong....
I got these for my two girls almost two months ago, not because they have ADHD or anything, but it was for the reason that these gummies have important mushrooms and other vital vitamins. I am a Chinese nutritionist and acupuncturist so always on the lookout for good quality supplements that are not synthetic. They have helped with their quality of sleep, their concentration, their energy levels and overall health (strengthening their immunity). And the fact that they look forward to having these gummies is a huge bonus! They are a bit on the pricey side though, so an option like Klarna would be very helpful as the PayPal option doesn’t always work.
I am writing this review because Shoom IQ's website still says "ShroomIQ Kids is proudly manufactured in the UK in an FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility." When I ordered the gummies the tracking said they originated from China. The package arrived and on the side of the bottle, there is a UK address which says where the gummies are manufactured. However because these gummies came from China, I emailed the UK manufacturer written on the label, asking if they make ShroomIQ gummies, their response was that they do not. I am also not convinced whether their list of "experts" are real people. In fact, I don't trust anything their website says now. Their whole website looks AI generated.When I asked for a refund, they gave me a full refund however I do not trust what is inside these gummies because of the amount of lies exposed so far. This is very concerning because this product is aimed for children.
So my daughter has been on these just short of a week and we have already noticed a difference. She is happy to do her own thing and is asking me to book her on holiday clubs over the summer 😱 this would be a never a week ago!! She spent all weekend engrossed on arts and crafts. My house was so quiet!! The only thing I've noticed is her appetite has dropped and she's not fixating on food which is good because she did have a habit of over indulging and we need to get a few kg off
Great company, took about a week to be delivered and they do great deals if bought in bulk. I was a bit sceptical at first because you just never know but my daughter loves them, loves the taste too. We’re a few weeks in and seeing a calmer child but it does take some time, it’s not an overnight thing.
For whatever reason the full address was not on my order and Royal Mail returned to the company. I contacted them and the customer service was fabulous. Teresa sorted out a refund for me and I was able to reorder with a discount code. Great customer service.
