Almost 2 years as a paying customer, and this is how it ends.
I used Similarweb without issues for nearly two years. Then, out of nowhere, the device verification code stopped arriving to my email. Completely locked out of my own account.
I complained, and after a lot of effort, they finally restored my access. But with a catch: I could only use it on ONE specific computer. No flexibility at all for a paying subscriber.
Two months later, the exact same problem again. Locked out. Verification code never arrives. And this time, no response from support whatsoever. I have contacted them multiple times through different channels and they simply ignore me.
So here I am: a loyal customer of almost 2 years, locked out of my account, unable to cancel my subscription through the platform, and completely ignored by their support team. They keep charging my card while making it impossible for me to use the service or cancel it.
It is truly a shame that a company of this size is incapable of providing decent after-sales support. I am now forced to request cancellation via email, file a GDPR data erasure request, and escalate through my bank and consumer protection authorities in Spain.
If you are considering Similarweb, think twice. The tool itself works, but if anything goes wrong with your account, you are on your own. Check the other 1-star reviews here - my case is far from unique.
I tried the 7-day trial of this marketing tool. The product seems quite good, but the trial version had notable limitations in features and daily search time. However, the sales team was overly aggressive. After I canceled, I received a flood of follow-up emails and calls, which became quite frustrating. Overall, it’s a decent product worth trying, but the aggressive sales tactics left a bad taste.
The support from this service is severely lacking. We reached out to the support team three times and received no replies. It's been several weeks without any response. We also tried the AI chatbot, which only directed us back to support—who, as mentioned, does not respond. The unresolved issue renders the service unusable. It's truly disappointing that support is failing to help resolve the problem.
This app is frustrating; they continuously spam my email. When I attempt to delete my account, it claims I don’t have one. The sender changes with each email, so even blocking them doesn’t stop the barrage of unwanted messages. It's the most frustrating service ever. DO NOT SIGN UP.
I'm requesting a refund after being charged post-trial. I had a free trial a couple of weeks ago, but I didn’t use the product and believed I canceled it. I recently fell ill and discovered a $240 charge for a subscription. I haven't used anything, so please terminate my account and refund my money. You can verify that I haven’t logged in or used the service.

After entering a test website URL, they bombard you with invasive sales tactics. The worst part? They ask for your bank details while claiming to offer a free service. The best advice is to read honest reviews elsewhere and avoid this company at all costs.
