Same bad experience as everyone else. System does not reconise your exit from the car park so a 24 hour charge is applied. Customer support phone number online and in APP does not work. Hospital switchboard have a different number which works but no one answers. How can a company with such a terrible reputation have a contract with a hospital. I have used mutilple parking APP's and have never had any issue.
Absolutely dire ...i am a blue badge holder my wife took me to hospital and got charged for parking ..then she had to drive to rear of hospital to pick me up and was charged again even though she was only on site 4 minutes and first 30 is free contacted sippi waste of time my advise dont down load the app makes it too easy for them to help themselves to your money !!!!

This company are dreadful their online permit app that they use at our carpark where we live is useless have had issues with it for months , my husband has just been given a ticket even though his car is on the sippi system we have proof its on the system from sippi , the bloke wouldn't have it still gave out a ticket and said phone the office ,slight problem there they dont answer the phones ! On hold for 2 hours .dont use a system that doesn't work properly.
Ridiculous charges and difficult to extend the time parked.Who says the nhs is free when you have to pay these extortionate charges to go to a and e at Stepping Hill Hospital. Cost nearly £10 in parking. It was difficult to extend the parking session using the app do had to restart the session again.
My experience so far has been positive.Once i had worked out how the app worked, it was fine.I was able to extend my time as I was in A and E with no problemWe will wait and see after reading the comments below if anything else happens, so far I'm happy.
Visited my Father in law at Stepping Hill hospital on 18/12/25 ( after taking him to A&E on 16/12/25). Used the car park & due to very inclement weather at the time, tried to update with a new m/v reg, but the App kept glitching.It took several efforts to successfully update with new info & this was after some 37 minutes after parking my car.I was at the hospital for approx 2&1/2 hours & left. The following day i saw that £7.40 had been debited from my bank account.A week later, i received an FPN saying i had not paid for my parking! I submitted an immediate appeal, but have now received notice from the parking company that my appeal was unsuccessful & i still have to pay the FPN due to anpr & parking times not matching.Parking fees are stated as follows:1st half hour free2 hrs - £3.504 hrs - £5.5012 hrs -£8.00Considering i was parked for approx 2&1/2 hrs & I was charged just short of the amount for 12 hours, I would say that the parking company have made a good profit out of me ( I had also deducted £9 from my visit on 16/12/25).Needless to say, I will not pay the FPN, they can get knotted, & my next step is to take it up with an Independent appeals panel ( the parking management only allow one appeal - how very convenient for them).My wife also visited her Father on several occasions during his stay at the hopital & she was charged £10+ for 5 hrs parking on one occasion & another £10+ for a 4 hour visit on another date.It seems that this management company write their own rules & impose parking tariffs on a whim & certainly contrary to advertised fees.I am not going to back down quietly and am not perturbed by officious threats of further action!
Terrible app that didn’t work. Terrible helpline that was absolutely no help and may as well not exist. These company’s just want to catch people out with no other option than a fine when their app doesn’t work after it’s too late and there are no other methods of paying
My daughter used the app having taken her mother to A & E at Stepping Hill Hospital, app confirmed parking period had begun, weeks later charged £40 by Thrifty Car Hire without any notification who confirmed it was parking fine they had paid.Never given any opportunity to appeal.Contacted Sippi who couldn’t care less, tough, so trading standards here we come.Don’t use the App, you have been warned.
