SKILLZ SCAM SCAM SCAM

SCAM SCAM SCAM! I agree with other users they will find any reason to not payout withdrawals. I created an account a month ago and I won on my first try and submittal for withdrawal. I noticed weeks later that my withdrawal never went through I was informed that they would look into it. I received an email a couple of days later stating my withdrawal was being processed $10 was loaded into my bank account and the rest would be sent to me via check. Needless to say I checked in a few days ago and was informed my winnings was forfeited because other accounts use the same device in the household. I informed them that yes other members of my family use the same Ipad but the funds that they received came from my bank account when I played using my own user account. They reinstated my siblings accounts because they play free matches but they refuse to reinstate my account because if it’s closed they do not have to pay out because I forfeit by playing on the same device. I told them the algorithm should have stopped me from creating an account if that was an issue but they did not. That rule is ridiculous! That’s like stating only one person in a household can play the PlayStation at one time. They do not use logic just scripted answers and algorithms.🗣PLEASE DO NOT WASTE ANY OF YOUR MONEY PLAYING WITH THEM YOU WIN SOME YOU LOSE SOME PUT THEY DO NOT WANT TO PAY. Over the course of the last month they have even encouraged me to cancel my withdrawal and continue to play but when i did not that’s when I was told about the other accounts in the household. Highly disappointed consumer of the app, the algorithm, the staff and their scripted answers, and overall SKILLZ.

Great game

Great game, when a little money is on the line it makes games that much better. See negative reviews here and all I can figure is they thought they were great and just couldn't win. Sour grape affect.

Play if you don’t mind losing all your money to the House

I have played thousands of matches both for free and real money (all documented) and have come to the understanding that the governing algorithm of this platform is designed to make only the House win. It would appear Skillz tweaked their algorithm to ensure they are the sole winners. Odd matching patterns are customary on this platform. You may end up having the illusion you win (at first) but in the medium and long run reality will eventually kick in. I have constantly checked how other players are faring (easy way to do this is to open a match result, click on your opponent’s icon, scroll down to the bottom of the page to see his win/loss performance over the last 10 games). Only a handful of players are on a 7wins/3 losses streak (that’s where you make a little money). Few more are on a 6/4 average (break even) and the vast majority are on a 5 (or less) wins/ 5 (or more losses). It’s also pointless to contact support as the best you’ll get are well crafted, pre-written copy paste replies which always fail to address your doubts or concerns. Finally, I find it odd regulators licensed Skillz to offer their games for money. When the house retains full control of the matching mechanism and, for example, allows for matching patterns that will repeatedly (four times or more in a row) field you against a players you have 20% or less chances of beating the whole concept of game of skills flies out of the window. Finally, their core claim of fairness is all but hot air. For example, when on a hot streak, it’s not unusual to be matched to players who’s best ever score is 20 points (or more) over your best ever score. And anyone who has played Spider Solitaire on this platform knows that a 20 points gap is borderline impossible to fill.

Don't trust the 5 star reviews. They are paid foreign gig workers

Any of these 5 star reviews in poor English are just paid reviews by skillz. They rope you in with deposit bonuses, but you're never allowed to withdraw the money you win from the deposit bonuses until you make more than your bonus. For example, you deposit $2 and get $5 bonus cash. You have to win more than $5 to withdraw, even though you're using your own cash first. Secondly, if you look at the weekly leader boards, the top 10 are always the same people. They are somehow winning hundreds of thousands of dollars within hours of the new "season" starting. It's obvious to anyone with an iq above room temp that the top ten players are a farming group of skillz employees and there aren't actually winners. 3rd, the gawd awful ads. All of the actors are lacking so much enthusiasm for the part. It's like they know they are getting paid a few hundred bucks by a scummy company to pretend that they are winners. One guy just sits and laughs lthis horribly uncomfortable laugh, like he hates himself for doing this gig.Stay away from any skillz games. There's a reason it's an external apk and not on the Google play or Apple store.

Scam

I would rate this game a - 10 if I could this is the worst cheating game I ever experienced. They have got over 400 dollars from me and never have I won over the money I deposited. People I have no reason to lie I am a gambler and this game takes the cake they pair you up with people they want once your in a winning streak, and how if you bet 3 dollars you getting back 5 because they deduct 1$ for them and a third party so your winning less then what your betting, but what do I know play at your own risk.

Biggest scams in history - professional thieves

All the good reviews are clearly paid fake reviews, Skillz is a complete scam and an unprofessional company. And I don’t know how Apple is accepting such app to be on their app store, because of them I never trust Apple anymore because their apps must’ve been the most secure and the most reviewed but actually Skillz make money from people's deposits. and they steal them by trying to find any way to not pay you and close your account. I've been a very good gamer in 2 of their games and I could make over $1000, they just blocked my account 4 times without any warning, and they took all the money that were made. After I emailed them, they opened my account but all my winnings were gone, you keep emailing them and they copy and paste the same email by saying "Any winnings from the violation of our Terms of Service are forfeit and cannot be added back to your account.". Let's say I violated their terms (which I didn't), but let's say I did it, they took all the money from my account, why they don't pay it back to the opponents that lost against me? why they keep the money for themselves? Because it's complete scam and stealing, that's the way they make profit, kind of "The Wolf of Wallstreet 2". They claim that they are a "fair" company and do marketing for their "fairness" but they don't care about anything other than stealing accounts. Be aware and never play or invest any penny in any Skillz game, I will do my best to share awareness about them everywhere because they really threw all my hard work and money away. they made me panic attacks. they blocked my account 4 times:1 - first time they didn’t specify any reason and they gave it back after I emailed them2 - second time they claimed that I have 2 accounts but actually I bought a used phone that had the game on it before. they don’t bother themselves to ask me if this is the case or they don’t send any warning, they just block immediately. And the funny thing is that they blocked my account which had over $300 and kept the account of the phone seller that I called him and approved that didn’t have any funds in it, actually it was inactive. Which is clearly stealing, they chose to block the account that has money inside to take the money, and when you ask them to do the opposite, they say “don’t worry, we’re sure you’re gonna make these achievements again”. they don’t care about any hard work you make, they don’t care about customer retention or their own reputation, they just steal you clearly. 3 - Third time they blocked my account by claiming that I’ve been intentionally poor playing to falsely influence their algorithm to play with opponents with lower scores to win them, and again they don’t send any warning they just block the account by saying “Please note that any winnings earned violating the Terms of Service may be forfeit.” So they take all the money that was in my account in this way (I had $950 in this account). Although I didn’t violate any terms, I just let my sister to try to play and she had low scores, nothing was intentional and nothing was cheating. Not a single company does such action without at least a warning or an explanation to their terms4 - Last time they blocked my account by saying “Your account has been temporarily suspended due to allowing another player access to your account or getting access to another player’s account.” and the reason of that is that they used what I told them in my last email (that my sister was playing on my phone) and blocked my account for this reason, as an new excuse to steal my money again. And they took $175 that were in the account including the bonus that I won from the leaderboard. in summary it took me so much time to discover how skillz are professional thieves and an unprofessional business scheme, don’t ever put any penny in this game and be careful of the scheme. I never could withdraw a single penny from skillz, I kept trying to see if I’ll receive something but every single time I make profit to try to withdraw it, they just steal them and threaten to block the account permanently, but they don’t they block it temporarily to steal you and then re-enable it after you confirm their terms. They will just find a way to steal you, any small detail that can be used against you even if you didn’t violate any terms. I’ll submit a report to Apple about all these things so they remove their apps from the app store. They should shut them down.

Sour Grapes or the Biggest Con in the World?

Easily the most dishonest and biggest scam ever to come along. If you're actually good enough to turn their "bonus cash" into real money, they'll just continue to tread water by sending you every lawyer-approved form response known to mankind before banning you outright. And the thing is, every step along the way they just double talk you- nothing ever gets into the most general of facts regarding the player. I could go on for days about this company, or you can trust me when I tell you this is a giant con to the umpteenth degree.
