I caved in and bought this because I thought it would be a life saver. In truth it’s quite good, but

I caved in and bought this because I thought it would be a life saver. In truth it’s quite good, but the price makes it impossible to feel it’s totally worth it. Especially with the annual subscription. Additionally, where I was initially wowed with the image and voice it imports recently they’ve been so glitchy and the quality of the automation has been poor.
It’s also deeply problematic that for uk purchasers there is not product warranty just the three months money back guarantee if it’s not for you. For the fee that’s just not good enough the product warranty should be at the very least a year. I do find the support to be good and helpful especially when they do new releases if you face some glitches. They’ve resolved all queries and do so really nicely, which honestly I think is quite rare these days. It’s also a great looking bit of kit, with quite a nice set of features. The app is quite decent too. There’s a load of things I’d love to see added. It would be great to set automatic reminders on certain events at set intervals without having to create whole other events for example. It would be good to have set birthdays tag and a place to view birthdays, it would be nice to make it a more holistic family organiser in order to justify the costs! It’s good but I’m not sure that we use it as extensively as neccessary to justify the cost. I thought we’d use the rewards and routines but kids aren’t fussed. Nor do we use the meals aspect

Fantastic device with impressive features.

Fantastic device with impressive features. However, removing a calendar can be somewhat troublesome. We had one that was syncing events from an email to the display, then to the calendar, and back again, resulting in duplicate events. Clearing the data was also a hassle, as it required going through every single event.

Amazing support in resolving my issue!

The team was fantastic in helping me resolve the situation regarding my misplaced cable, charger, and stand. Their responses were quick, and I appreciated their consistent support and courtesy. My skylight frame is now set up and functioning perfectly - I'm thrilled!

Calendar is life changing

I was hopeful/skeptical but this product is amazing. My life just got so much more organised! The meal planner is brilliant, so easy to use and the sidekick makes everything simple and smooth. Highly recommend for busy families

My mother loves watching photos of her favorite people shuffling through. As asomeone living with dementia it helps to remind her of all the family members who are able to keep in touch with this device.

Absolutely NO capable technical support.

I have been attempting to work through some problems I am having with the frame. I am convinced all the problems started when they attempted to transfer the frame to me when my wife passed away, Suddenly there are numerous problems.I had a new person send things to me at about 4 yesterday afternoon. She reported getting a message saying awaiting approval but the photos came through. I never received an approval request.I asked another person to send something an hour later and their photos did not come through. She used two different email addresses to send the photos. She did not get any notifications. Nor did I.Somehow the privacy settings keep getting reset to approval. But I don't get any approvals. So I keep setting it to anyone like their ZENDESK app recommended . Also on the screen of the frame when checking the heart for love the photo a notice appears saying xxx email will be notified that you liked their photo. This never happens. I am disappointed and frustrated so I called what is supposed to customer support. The response I got, after talking to their supervisor, was okay we agree we will escalate the issues. I asked when should I expect a call back and what should I do if no one contacts me. Don't worry they will respond within 2 days. Well the have now sent me back to their glorified chat bot. to start all over. Bottom line they have NO customer support. They advertise 24 7 customer support but in my experience the best I ever got was a chat response 12 hours later. All I want is to talk to a knowledgeable technical support person on the phone to solve the problem. I don't see that as too much to expect. The response from Skylight is hilarious... If the responder had investigated they would realize I sent a note 3 days ago asking for support form the email address they just sent me.

Skylight frame is invaluable in keeping in touch with family in NZ, but particularly in helping to prompt my fathers failibg memory. An unexpected fault left a blank screen.The help servic, particularly from Kenneth, was fantastic, communication by return of email and the frame replaced within days. Tremendous service, the photo memories and updates continue to delight.

What is there not to love about easily…

What is there not to love about easily adding memorable pictures and videos that can play on a loop all day everyday. What made my experience even better is the fact that after having my Skylight picture frame for about 7 years now it developed a fault connecting to the WiFi but despite being well past it's 2 year warranty Skylight were so generous and offered me a one off replacement free of charge :) *****
