Review: 10/10 – "The Watery" is a Game Changer
If you are tired of limescale-heavy water destroying your appliances and wrecking standard filters within a week, look no further. I have been using The Watery (the reverse osmosis system from Milky Plant) for a year now, and it has exceeded every expectation.
Performance Under Pressure
Where I live, the water quality is frankly awful—full of limescale and "tat" that used to kill my Brita filters in seven days.
• Durability: We are a high-volume family. We drink a lot of water and use it for all our cooking, yet I only needed to change the filters after a full year. That is incredible efficiency for such a hard-working machine.
• Quality: The water quality remains top-notch. It has completely transformed our daily routine.

In an era where "customer service" usually means talking to a bot, the Milky Plant team is a breath of fresh air.
• Responsiveness: Every time I email them, I get a human response within 24 hours (usually less).

I have been telling anyone who will listen about this system. It’s rare to find a product that lives up to the hype, but this does.

I like the water filter and use it everyday. Features like the water jug, heated water function, general product functions and design are all good. My only complaint is that the water reservoir and jug were cracked/chipped on receipt, but still usable. I have complained several times, the company have said they'll send replacements, they never do and now they ignore me. I think they have a design fault, maybe lots of cracked products and are putting their heads in the sand. If I don't receive the replacement parts soon I will return the machine and that will costs them more. It's already cost them this review.
The Milky Plant Plus milk maker is the best machine on the market. It is super easy to use and tastes delicious. I had the first version and thought it is great and then upgraded to the plus. The wait was long but the machine turned out impressive. I love the glass blending compartment and the updated cleaning and sanitising.
I believe this is regarding the machine known as The Watery? I absolutely adore it! It has completely replaced our water filter jug, which always required frequent refilling, along with a large reservoir jug for the filtered water to keep enough on hand for the coffee maker. Now, our coffee machine is never empty since it’s conveniently placed right next to The Watery. We’ve discarded the kettle—everything is ready in an instant. Whether it’s a small teapot of boiling water, a cup of hot water for my mug, or just refreshing, pure cold water, it’s all at my fingertips. We even fill our ice maker with this pristine water. The tea tastes so clean, the coffee is delightful, and there’s never any residue left in the cups. It’s a fantastic machine. I truly cherish it.
I always conduct thorough research before making a purchase and noticed that most complaints focus on logistics and administration rather than the product itself! So, I decided to take the plunge and order it on December 20th! I enjoy living on the edge! Recognizing that the company would be quite busy during the holiday season, I chose to place my order and patiently wait without contacting the support team. To my delight, the product arrived just three days after I ordered it! I placed my order on December 20th and received it by December 24th! Buying this product was the best decision I've made since I was 16, and now I'm 48! I wholeheartedly recommend this product without any hesitation!
Extremely disappointing service. My parcel never arrived, and my emails go unanswered or receive delayed responses. I still haven't received any feedback regarding the item I never got, despite providing all necessary information and reaching out multiple times through various channels.
Steer clear of this company. I was among many who pre-ordered a new version of a product back in February. What followed was an incredibly frustrating customer experience. I initially expected delivery in June, but that was far from the reality. Delays can happen, but the communication was filled with misinformation. I had to keep reminding them that I was still waiting for my order—no product and no refund. By November, I was fed up and decided to cancel my order and request a refund. I received an email confirming the refund would appear in my account within 5-10 business days. I thought it was finally over, but the next morning, I got an email saying my product was on its way! A few days later, I did receive the product, but still no refund. It seems they finally shipped what they owed me months ago while misleading me about the refund process. Additionally, they only sent the product without the other items that were part of the pre-sale. ABSOLUTELY AVOID this company. They will drive you CRAZY!
