Marwa and Huda from the customer service at BUR JUMAN branch were very professional with my queries and updates. Where instant updates were not possible, Marwa called me and kept me updated about her follow up and completion of the pending task.
In my first transaction in Dubai with ENBD--- WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, I made an international transfer and was charged a 40% fee. During the transaction, it mentioned 0 fees and right after the transaction, I was charged 40% for it. When I reached the bank firstly, they wouldn't entertain it on call you can only chat and the answer was 'ENBD didn't charge instead the corresponding middle bank charged' which I had not been informed about before. DBS ( the receiving bank ) was super cooperative in giving me calling me from Singapore to Dubai to clarify their part. DBS is truly the most cooperative bank, unfortunately, can't say the same about ENBD, after persuading and explaining the situation multiple times they said they wouldn't refund it even though I was misled and I should have been asked about the exact charge before the transaction, not be scammy seriously. I have no faith in future transactions or scams I might face, due to this experience. The agents are also clearly assisting multiple people at once and don't care about your troubles, issues, or pain. HOW frustrating this is. I didn't expect this in Dubai.
Emirates NBD blocking your card without notice when you are abroad and for unilateral security reason, at the first use of it. You are stranded and with a miserable international roaming cover from DU. The perfect mix of incompetence and market monopoly outcome in its best expression. The app from ENBD is useless and the user of the card cannot un-block the card on his own! Unbelievable!It is impossible to contact Emirates NBD via chat, if you have any roaming issue. the only chat available is the idiotic bot with ZERO problem solving capacity. BEST to send this bank to he11 and migrate to another bank at the soonest.
My experience with NBD seems to be a nightmare. Their customer service is terrible and the assistance they provide is hardly helpful. When I reported several fraudulent transactions that amounted in losses of 156 dirhams, their response was just to return 94.83 dirhams and then again deduct 19.99 after six months for no apparent reason. Trying to get answers as to why this deduction occurred was an exercise in futility given the unhelpful customer service staff were unable to provide me with a plausible explanation in which I ended up losing 81.16 dirhams in the end. There's been no relief from the bank despite repeated attempts which have forced me to raise a complaint with the central bank hoping that they may help resolve this matter. My entire experience with NBD has been absolutely disappointing, insufferable and would not recommend them at all!16/12/22 I recently tried to contact customer service, and unfortunately it quickly became an exercise in sheer frustration. After countless minutes on hold while being subjected to the same message over and over again, I was never able to get through to an actual person. While I understand that availability is likely limited due to the pandemic, it's still irritating that such large amounts of time had to be spent trying (unsuccessfully) to get help from a real person.
Very bad experience. I transfered an amount before 11 days and until now it is not credited to the beneficiary bank. When asking the reason they are telling its ynder investigation.After 8 days they told the case is resolved and the amount credited to the beneficiary. But they didnt receive the amlunt. When I asked for the swift copy of the transfer they told again that case is under review, not resolved. I cannot trust your bank.
Worst website ever .... I purchase Apple AirPod it was mentioned that it will be delivered in 4 working days ... it has been 3 weeks and item not yet received and customer service refusing to log a complaint ... I called 13 times and No one cares . Requested to speak to supervisors no one give a call back.. they are just a cheaters supporter by NBD Bank. I will never ever trust NBD again .. I will be moving to a different bank Soon once I came from my Vacation.
