Sleeping bunnies has been amazing for our family and twin daughters. Since they were newborns we have worked closely with the team and they have helped schedule naps and bedtimes, with continued advice and support throughout. Not once have we felt alone. Although sceptical at first, we can hand on heart say that sleep training is for the win especially with multiples! It has allowed our girls to learn how to successfully self-settle/soothe and sleep throughout the night without wakes. It has been a long journey but so worth it. And now the girls at 16 months have one nap a day only and still sleep through the night. We couldn’t be more impressed! Thank you sleeping bunnies!
I have taken a long time to write this review after some reflection & also along with my own research into 'sleep training'. This is my reflection as a first time parent on this. I recommend reading, The Book I wish my Parents had read on attachment theory & impact this has on babies.Firstly, this is not a gentle approach & involves crying. Crying it out (Nope), Crying for a period of time (absolutely).Firstly, I would say if you if you haven't done any research into white noise, wake windows, sleep cycles, black out blinds, sleep associations & are a complete novice to infant sleep then sure they can offer you support on that which you might find valuable. This information can easily be found on Instagram through research etc.Feels like a Cookie Cutter Approach: If you have again done your own research you can find a bog standard routine for your child according to their child's age a lot cheaper elsewhere. Huckleberry, Just Chill Mama for example. Sleeping Bunnies will offer you 'moral support' with some voice notes, saying you can do it, stick with it.. whilst your child cries :(.Holistic Approach: Absolutely not true (from my experience), this does not take into account sickness, allergies, reflux, temperament, possible oral dysfunction, tongue ties, tension etc. They do ask but definitely do not take this into account. Is it not important to understand 'why' your baby is crying at night, rather than to let them cry & eventually fall to sleep? Personally, you need to get to the root of the cause. If you want a real holistic & responsive approach, The Fox, Moon & The Sleep & Care it Out & other companies have a more responsive style which I regret not paying for instead. My Health Visitor has offered to support for free with a more gradual approach. So also worth checking in with your HV.If your child is laid back & a dream at night, then sure this might be the approach for you. If you are happy listening to your baby cry & are that desperate, then this may work for you. Personally this was one of the lowest points of my parenting journey so far & fills me with regret. Unfortunately, I got sucked into Instagram influencers who they work for (who they seem to gift services too or be friends with). Eek, more fool me! Don't feel pressure to sleep train as everyone seems to be doing it. Co-sleep safely, feed to sleep, feed your baby in the night, cuddle them- If it works for you, don't stop because someone says oh by this age, they should not be doing that! You know your child best!
Our sweet little baby would not settle in his cot for naps, only taking contact naps andwe were having 3+ wake ups a night - feeding/shushing/patting back to sleep each time.During our time working with Kristie we had teething, illness and our baby learnt to crawl and pull up to standing. Despite all of that we now have a baby who will happily nap in his cot and can settle himself. Our sleep is much improved and we have so much more confidence and knowledge around his sleep. We know how to get back on track if any issues disrupt his sleep, and when things don’t quite go to plan there is always a plan B to ensure our baby isn’t overtired. Thank you Kristie for going above and beyond to assist us and help our little boy get the sleep he needs.
I have received the most amazing support from Anna and Karlie. Having used Sleeping Bunnies in the past for my eldest two children, I knew to get in touch early this time. When my youngest was born I attended the Newborn workshop over at Bunnies in the Woods, which helped me to lay the foundations for great sleep habits . Then, at 10 weeks old, I had 1:1 support to establish a great sleep routine where we met his awake/sleep windows, Within a few days he was able to self settle (it just shows how awake windows are so important). We now have a happy 3 month old who settles to sleep with ease he is now able to self settle beautifully and loves his sleep space and sleeps a 10 hour chunk at night!!!!! This is so valuable to our family as having two other younger children I am able to do bedtime with them with peace of mind that my baby goes down happily , thank you so much Sleeping Bunnies, it’s been life changing xxx
Kelly was a pleasure to work with. She was empathetic to our needs as a family and worked with us to help tweak our current routine and educate us on the science around sleep in little ones. Through her methods we went from 3-4 wakes ups a night and a baby who would scream for 45mins when you put her down for a nap, and fed to sleep, to a happy baby who falls asleep peacefully by herself in her cot, no tears, and is now sleeping through the night. I was amazed at the impact small changes had on Isabella’s sleep and it’s been transformative for us as a family. Bedtime is now such an enjoyable experience with my children as I’m no longer trapped in a room trying to soothe a screaming child. Thank you to Kelly and sleeping bunnies for all your help and support.
After a pretty rough start for my my little boy with severe reflux and getting Covid he was a very attached little man who really didn’t enjoy sleep at all. The only way he would settle for more than a few hours was on me and whilst lovely, it wasn’t sustainable for either of us. Having done the workshop with Anna a few months prior which both myself and my husband found amazing we started to implement the techniques which definitely laid a good foundation. I felt it was the right time to take the step and get 1:1 help after being unable to consistently help my son or know what I needed to tweak for him. Cue Anna! Oh my goodness what a journey we had. Through teething, weaning, coughs and colds we rode many ups and downs but the help never faltered and there was never a check in where I wasn’t met with kindness and support. I can proudly say we got there together, through little tweaks and consistency the advice and routine has paid off and he now sleeps like a different baby than before. It has changed him as a baby as he is now properly rested - wakes up happy, able to settle himself back down which is just amazing given I had to support him to sleep everytime before.THANK YOU. You literally changed my life from a place where I was so sleep deprived it was affecting my mental health, the days are so different now and it’s hugely down to you and the support provided. Thank you thank you thank you!
We were recommended Sleeping Bunnies by friends who had used them. We had been working with a previous sleep trainer for our 7 month old daughter and although she was no longer being fed to sleep her daytime naps had fallen off a cliff, so she was overtired as a result and we weren’t happy with the advice we were being given to remedy this. What appealed to me was our friends said Sleeping Bunnies’ approach was really collaborative, which definitely proved to be the case. We worked with Kelly and focused a lot on wake windows during the day to work out what was right for our daughter to get naps back on track. Kelly also helped us to transition from 3 to 2 naps during the consultation period. At the end of the 4 week period our daughter had transitioned to 2 naps, one of which was at least 1.5 hours long. Our daughter is now getting the sleep she needs and I feel we have the knowledge on wake windows and sleepy cues to support her sleep going forwards. Kelly was great to work with and very reassuring when I worried we might not be able to get naps back on track. I cannot recommend sleeping bunnies highly enough.
When we first got in contact with Sleeping Bunnies, our baby Lena was 5 months old. She was a serial catnapper and we had been co-sleeping at night since the 4 month regression. She would refuse to be put down for bedtime so we had gotten into the habit of doing bedtime in the baby carrier and transferring her into bed when we were going to sleep. Our initial consultation with Karlie was very thorough; she was supportive and we felt listened to. She gave us a plan that was in two phases - phase 1 to try and get Lena on an age appropriate schedule, get on top of overtiredness and lengthen naps, and phase 2 to tackle self settling. Karlie appreciated our need to take things slowly, pause for illness and be gentle/responsive throughout. The twice weekly check ins really kept us on track and Karlie was constantly giving us advice to improve things. The two full days of contact when we were teaching self-settling were a lifesaver.Fast forward to now - Lena is 7 months old, she self settles in her cot (it is like magic), her naps have lengthened, she usually has two long naps per day now, and she goes down in her cot for bedtime with next to no fuss. We finally have some time back for ourselves again and Lena seems much happier now she is no longer overtired or battling sleep. Karlie was wonderful and went above and beyond for us. It is definitely the best money we have spent in a long time and we would not hesitate to reach out to Sleeping Bunnies again in the future if we need any more advice. Thank you so much Karlie!
We’re so grateful for Karlie at Sleeping Bunnies as she transformed our experience of parenthood and our babies’ well-being! After a month of trying to decide whether to seek support or not we had a 1:1 with Karlie as our 6 month old was waking 6-8 times per night and would only ever feed to sleep. Myself, my partner and our daughter were sleep deprived and on the whole, pretty unhappy. Karlie worked with us to develop a plan and after 3 days of working on self settling, she slept through the night. Karlie continued to work with us through a little period when our baby was ill as we got sleep back on track, she also helped refine our nap routine and drop night feeds. Most nights now, we all get a full nights sleep and our daughter has good, restful day time naps. We are all so much happier, have more energy to enjoy our time together and feel more confident to support our daughters sleep and development moving forward. If you’re trying to decide whether it’s worth paying for a 1:1, do it! Thank you Karlie :)
Cannot recommend enough. We were in a total pickle with our 9-month-old. He woke multiple times at night and all naps were only 40 minutes and had to be contact. We also had no routine, despite maximal effort. After attending several online courses and getting nowhere, we booked a one-on-one consultation with Sleeping Bunnies (I had heard the founder on Giovanna Fletchers Podcast and thought she sounded great). We had a consult with Kelly, who tailored the approach to be gentle, yet effective. Following a thorough assessment, we were provided with a clear plan and ample support. Within 5 days, our little chap was sleeping 11.5 hours at night (in the cot, no dummy!) and napping in the cot during the day too. This has honestly changed our lives, and probably saved our marriage (!). If you feel that things wont improve, get in touch- they really can help.
