Joe installed our system on the 8th of September. We are very happy with the work Joe carried out. We have a daughter with special needs and I asked Joe to put a back up system in place in case of powercuts so we would have power to run some devices and lights to make the time less stressful for her. I would highly recommend Solarpvpanelsireland to anyone wishing to go down the Solar path.
Re: Joe Reilly T/a Solar PV Panels Ireland.I can fully recommend Joe Reilly and his team of professionals for your Solar PV installation.I contacted Mr Reilly after sales consultations with each of two of the big brand installers.The offering of the branded suppliers was a “package” , which was price padded with a “promotional discount”. When I sought to tweak “the package” with batteries and sufficient panels for my roof and my particular needs, the branded suppliers could then be seen to be prohibitively expensive. If you don’t do your Solar PV research, you may be “sold a pup”!On contacting Joe Reilly, I was impressed by his engagement with my questions and his technical advice and explanations . My impression was of competence, flexibility for bespoke design; no nonsense.Using satellite pictures and information I supplied, Mr Reilly provided an outline design for my roof and my needs. The quote listed products which could be readily confirmed as meeting high industry and consumer ratings. The final 18 panel system with 6kwh battery storage owes much to Joe Reilly steering me around , albeit gradually, in the right direction and as a direct result of his advice, I got the best possible Bang for My Buck.Mr Reilly suggested and programmed my inverter to charge the batteries at 4am for the winter months. The result is (according to my February 2023 bill) that my consumption is 58.6% down on 6 December 2021- 6 Feb 2022, my winter consumption was at the night rate mostly (80+%) with only 8 peak units since December 2022. My accumulated electricity exports since August cancelled my December to February usage and my electricity account is in credit.The BER report as part of the SEAI grant process caused me to change all my bulbs. Using the iPhone APP s to monitor electricity generation and water heating is fun and it allows you to chose the optimal time to run washers, dishwashers , ovens etc. It is great to have a sense of control and the ability to limit your outgoings.Finally, Mr Reilly’s installers are the type of people you can be comfortable about having about your house and on your roof. I saw the same team operating locally in Feb 2023 as did my installation in August 2022. They are courteous , methodical professionals (who helpfully drew my attention to a roofing issue they could have ignored and remedied it at minimal expense. Mr Reilly’s team inspire confidence and that factor is worth bearing in mind.Basically I am delighted with everything.JB Dromod Co Leitrim
