Review Time
Who? I signed up for a session, we discussed it online, but it didn't happen because she didn't calendar it. Ok, mistakes happen. 2nd time - last minute cancels (doesn't feel well). Set #3 but asked if she was not going to show, transfer me to someone else. She didn't and cancelled at the last moment. So, no #4.
I began sessions with SonderMind two months ago. Very disappointed with services I received from this company and therapist. In the beginning, the therapist is good about responding to messages but communication soon stopped when I questioned the medication she was trying to prescribe. It was dangerous combination with my current meds prescribed from primary care. When I questioned the next medication prescribed she (Clara Huff) cancelled all my appointments and cut off communication. Very sad that when I reached out bc I needed a therapist and to be treated this way is unacceptable. BE MINDFUL OF WHO YOU CHOOSE TO CARE FOR YOU….
I love my care team, no complaints there. My issues are around the technical supports (lack thereof).
Right now neither my therapist or I can get a human being to fix a glitch preventing any of her clients (including me) from scheduling appointments with her. I have been seeing her a few years and it's not a user error. I have tried their help # (after advertising a medical device it hangs up on you), sending in multiple help requests and using their new AI.
A few years ago I finally got a human on the phone regarding issues with the messaging system Soundermind uses for Client- Provider communication. The second question she asked was what kind of phone I have (Samsung). She said oh, it won't work on Samsung, you need an Apple device. Sooooo, maybe say that when you advertise this product?! That support person had NO other recommendations, demonstrated no interpersonal skills or care. After 6 months they did fix that glitch, but now you can't seem to ever get a human, only bots who give the same useless phone number over and over again.
I appreciated my therapist, but there was a long delay of 9 months in billing my insurance, which resulted in my insurance refusing to cover the costs. They charged my bank account, and I've been seeking a refund for over a month, despite their previous promise. I've had to reach out to them and the Better Business Bureau because the service has been unresponsive. I may need to contact the insurance commissioner due to their lack of communication.
My therapist is excellent, but the customer service is very lacking. It took me several days to locate a contact number, and even then, I couldn't reach anyone. I disputed some charges on my credit card. When I finally managed to contact the company, I was told someone would respond within a week, but I never received a call or email.
Lucinda is a compassionate and attentive individual. She truly listens to my concerns and we discuss the emotions I'm facing. She is guiding me through the family dynamics I'm navigating while living with my daughter and her family. I feel fortunate to have her as my therapist.
I like the ease of connecting with a therapist through this platform. Scheduling is easy, providing feedback is easy, and logging on to the session is easy. I really value the expertise of my therapist and the way I'm frequently surprised at what comes up in the sessions in addition to the ongoing conversation or agendas. My therapist frequently has additional resources for me that add to the conversation and give me practice between appointments. The only thing that doesn't quite fit are the assessments. They're so general (and quantitative) that they don't quite reflect the depth and complexity of either my therapy experience or my responses to the therapy.
