Review Time
This was my first order from Benefit’s official website, although I’ve been a loyal customer of the brand for years through other retailers.
The package got stuck in USPS delivery and didn’t move for weeks. I contacted Benefit within a few days after noticing the issue. Their response came 26 business (!) days later. By that time, USPS had suddenly marked the shipment as “delivered,” even though it was never delivered.
The U.S. forwarding warehouse confirmed in writing that the parcel was not received and asked for an official Proof of Delivery. Benefit refused to request this from USPS and relied instead on a generic tracking screenshot anyone can access.
To add to the confusion, Benefit first told me the order had been returned to them, then later said this was a mistake and not related to my order.
In U.S. commerce, the seller bears the risk of loss until delivery is confirmed.
It’s remarkable that a brand would choose to lose a long-term customer over such a low-value order and clearly broken customer service process.
I ordered women's products from this website and never received them. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, I received no response. It's a poor platform with even worse customer service. I cannot recommend engaging with them.
I visited a location recently and was attended to by a wonderful representative. She noticed me and my mom trying makeup from another brand and was incredibly attentive. She introduced us to new products, matched our skin tones, and applied the makeup beautifully. Her dedication and customer service were outstanding, and we truly appreciated her honest recommendations. I'm now a fan of this brand, thanks to her!
Having worked for this company, I felt compelled to share my experience. If you're considering employment here, be cautious. The atmosphere is overwhelming and unappreciative, with certain management acting superior. The company seems more focused on profit than customer experience, which feels pushy at times. My attempts to reach HR have been ignored, and I feel marginalized compared to others. It's disheartening and damaging to one's self-worth. I wanted to voice my concerns publicly as I can no longer stay silent.
The customer service is the worst! I sent my return via certified mail and received confirmation, but it’s been almost a month with no refund. I've called multiple times, and while a representative offered to email me, nothing happened. I will never order online from this company again.
I was looking for a specific product and went directly to the source since I couldn't find it locally. As a new customer, I signed up for notifications and was supposed to receive a discount. After placing my order, I realized I forgot the discount code and called for assistance. The representative couldn't help, and I was disconnected multiple times while trying to resolve the issue. This experience was incredibly frustrating, and I won't order from them again.
The new foundation is one of the worst products I've ever tried. It's greasy, emphasizes pores, and offers terrible coverage. Trying to get a refund is a hassle, requiring batch numbers and evidence. This brand has declined in quality, and I plan to switch to something better.
