Lack of Support During Emergency

I am overseas and needed help locating medical care. I was asked about my availability for an appointment, but the next morning I received a link to book myself. Payment issues arose, and despite multiple contacts, I received no assistance. The solution offered was to pay again and seek a refund, leaving me frustrated and still needing medical help. I provided evidence of the charge, which they acknowledged.

Frustrating Experience

Currently in Los Angeles, CA, amid a severe fire crisis. I spoke to multiple representatives before reaching the correct department, and I was disconnected twice. Given my autoimmune condition, I was concerned about my safety. However, I was told my insurance wouldn’t cover costs unless I was in immediate danger. It’s incredibly frustrating, and the service I received was unsatisfactory. They cited high call volumes, but I’m facing a critical situation. I won’t choose this insurance again and request a refund.

Unsatisfactory Assistance

I spoke to a representative while in an emergency room in Rome, which was quite distressing. I inquired about alternative hospitals, but the response was vague. I was promised a follow-up call that never came. Although I had a positive experience earlier in the day with another staff member, my overall experience was disappointing. I recommend handling medical issues independently if possible.
