Not possible to leave a lower review so stuck here with a one star. Absolutely do not recommend as they will accept payment, provide times and then change times the day before, offering no recourse and keeping the original booking amount. They did not care that we were on vacation and had structured our day around the originally provided times. They will point to their Ts & Cs stating they are allowed to do this but they do not have their customer's best interests at heart and are just trying to take your money! Avoid like the plague.
This was one of the most disappointing spa experiences I've ever had. I booked a spa treatment as a gift for my husband and myself for £600, and we were let down by the service provided. We were led to a cramped, shared changing area for all guests, with no seating available while changing. Is this truly what one expects from a luxury spa? The pool was quite small, there was only one steam room, and the bathrobes were not clean. We then made our way to the massage wearing bathrobes, passing through long hallways and an elevator shared with other hotel visitors. For a couples treatment, having to navigate public spaces completely ruins any sense of privacy, intimacy, or romance. The “massage” was merely light, superficial touches from therapists who displayed average skills. It was nowhere near a professional, high-quality treatment. For this cost, it was undoubtedly my worst spa experience.
I needed to adjust my booking, and initially, I was worried my voucher would expire and I'd lose my funds. However, when I reached out to customer service, the representative provided exceptional support. She was incredibly accommodating, responding promptly and kindly to all my inquiries. She ensured I found a suitable solution for my booking issue and helped me secure the best option for future bookings. I am extremely satisfied and truly grateful.
Recently, I booked a spa break for my girlfriend's birthday. Upon arrival, we were informed that our treatments were scheduled separately due to a last-minute cancellation. I had to forfeit my treatments without a refund just to be with her. During her session, I had to wait in my car until she was done. It was the most poorly organized spa experience I've ever had. The lunch provided was a voucher for a nearby hotel with a limited menu offering only three starters and three main courses. I would advise against using this service.
I want to share some very positive feedback about the representative who transformed my experience. He was extremely polite and helpful, going above and beyond on short notice to help us find another spa. Regarding the website, it would be great if the "latest spa information" could be highlighted in red to indicate urgency about any issues or limited availability, as I might not have booked if that had been clearer. Overall, the representative made this a positive experience, thank you!
I had a fantastic Sunday thanks to the incredible help I received in organizing my Christmas Spa Getaway! Without the expert guidance, I wouldn't have found the ideal hotel offering the perfect treatment for us. It was truly a remarkable experience!
