From the initial phone call to setup service with Spectrum to the completion of the installation of cable and internet was a smooth process that took less than 24 hrs total. I am extremely impressed with both the initial registration for service and the installation of equipment process. Chris assisted us on the phone and with the spectrum app. He also scheduled us with a technician for install vs us having to setup the equipment ourselves. Fernando completed the installation which was a flawless process that took an hour or less. We could not be happier with our 1st experience with spectrum.
We when to store to get new service . Xumo service self install was unable to get it to work. After talking to customer service online finally service guy here said they gave you wrong tower 7 you need a tower 6 so he fix it . I was told your bill will $120 my is bill is $166 don’t use spectrum they will rip you off.
The installer did a great job. Nick, the sales agent promised me the world and delivered nothing quoted me a price of $85 which was deceitful. The installer was here from 8 AM to 1 o’clock not because he couldn’t do the job because there was so many issues with the package choice.My price started at $85. What I was quoted and by the end it was $110 and I still didn’t have cloud DVR which I was promised in the beginning. I had the system installed on Friday and hopefully it will be removed Sunday evening. I’m willing to pay more for tried and true service, and honesty then they had the nerve to tell me that I had to remove the system and bring it back to the store. having the system less than 48 hours. I was not impressed with the Internet connection my starlink works better.
I changed to Spectrum because Lumos was getting ridiculously expensive. To keep it short, I like Spectrum. I am saving over $100 a month, and at least for the time being I have numerous streaming services as part of my service. The problem I have is that there are constant little interruptions when the TV will go down for 5 or 10 minutes, sometimes longer. You have to unplug and recycle and unplug everything, find your password and sign back in, and I am getting sick of it. They need to fix whatever they need to fix to stop this. The price may be good, but there are too many issues and outages.
The Spectrum technician was very professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and made sure the installation was completed properly. Very satisfied with the service.
had the worst luck with spectrum lately, replaced modem, everything. and continuously dropping internet. been through troubleshooting with techs. and constitently being told its not spectrums issue, but yet its solely proven to be spectrum.

I pay for 600mbps and received actually 12.0 download and 19.8 upload. They told me it’s because of the wear and tear of the old modem. Our modem is around 1 year old. I have a picture of it for proof! But of course, spectrum blames Mercury is in Gatorade.
The sales rep that came out to get us to try spectrum.Was misleading to put it nicely. We've had it for 5 days now. And almost daily have to unplug the modem to get it to work. Pause and rewind Live TV does not work through the app we were told it would function identical to our current dish setup, and it does not. We were also told the 1st month would be a trial month, 5 days in, we got a bill for a full month. Customer service is horrendous, and that is sugar coating it.
From scheduling to installation the entire process was simple and direct without feeling mechanical. Scheduling was flexible to accommodate my availability and Brian was on time. The agent on the phone was friendly and helped me pick the packages that met my needs. So far, the value versus cost is exceptional.
Worst company I have ever dealt with. They make everything 100x more complicated than it needs to be. I returned a phone to them and it took over 2 months and call to the BBB to get my money back. Ordered a phone about a year later and I get an email to verify my identity by a certain date to avoid cancellation. I do the ID verification and the NEXT DAY (well before the deadline) I receive an email saying my order was cancelled. Chat representative was useless and closed the chat on me. Stay away from this company!
