What a wonderful time we had at AO2026 from Monday 2026-01-26 to Wednesday-28 in Melbourne. The tennis sessions we attended did not disappoint and the Rod Laver arena is a spectacular venue. Our seats were excellent and we survived Tuesday at 42 C, Thank God that the roof was closed during the late afternoon match !
The accommodation we selected, the Adina Apartments, was perfect and well located to walk to Melbourne Park (20-25 min). The Adina staff were very helpful and courteous. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. In the end, everything was done in a very professional way answering to a very high standard of excellence. This all started with a phone call from Craig Mutimer, a series of emails and by April, we were on our way to finalize our AO26 package. Craig was very helpful throughout the entire process to help us secure the desired package for what ended up being a very enjoyable stay. Session tickets were sent by email and the guest services desk answered an email about the accommodation within one hour, from Melbourne, Australia to Canada!
AO2026 is very well organized with staff on the ground that are very helpful, happy to help you and wanting to make sure that you have the best time at the Open. Every staff that we interacted with were very cheerful and happy in their job.
What an experience and good time we had. This was all made possible thanks to Craig Mutimer and the Sportnet holidays staff. It was all fun and excitement!

First time I have dealt with Sportsnet Holidays and it has been such a pleasure from start to finish. From the first enquiry I made until receiving our information and booking confirmation have been fantastic. Our recent few days at the Aus Open saw us staying in excellent accommodation with a beautiful buffet breakfast included. Then our actual tickets to the tennis were amazing. Out of the hot sun on the day session and in the lower section for the night session nice and close to the action. Will definitely be using their services again.
We are huge tennis fans and wanted to go to The Australian Open in January of 2026. We chose Sportsnet Holidays to help us create an itinerary for our AO experience and their service couldn't have been more perfect. I worked with Craig Mutimer to craft our dates, tickets, water taxi rides and our hotel into one inclusive package. We had a total of 9 day or night sessions of tickets for Rod Laver Arena & John Cain Arena. I requested all of our seats to be in the shade and they were wonderful. Great seats on Rod Laver every time. We were in the Sportsnet Super Suite in the John Cain Arena for 2 sessions and the Suite was awesome. It's private, it has air conditioning, food and beverage service and designated bathrooms for the Suite guests. We stayed at the Langham Melbourne which was a fabulous hotel right on the Yarra River and within walking distance of the Tournament entrances. Our trip to the Australian Open was absolutely amazing and we would highly recommend using Sportsnet Holidays to book your trip.
Last year (2024,early December) I dealt with your staff member "Will" when making enquiries about the 2025 AFL Gather Round AFL Football Carnival to be held in April in Adelaide and surrounds, and was so happy with the service, and package offered that I decided to do the same in 2026. Will was again the staff member who took my call and once again he provided terrific service in listening to, and addressing, or promising to address queries that I had. I am really looking forward to the 2026 Gather Round, due in no small part to the service that he provided.
⭐ Misleading Ticket Reseller – Premium Seats Were Nothing Like AdvertisedI paid $25,000 this price includes a $15,000 for ring side front row upgrade for what Sportsnet Holidays advertised as a “premium front-row floor experience” for WWE Crown Jewel in Perth. What I actually received were side-wall seats in Section 007, nowhere near ringside, and with a side-on, obstructed angle to the ring. Fans who paid far less ended up with better, front-facing seats.Sportsnet presents themselves as if they have special knowledge or control over seating arrangements, but their own responses make it clear they are simply a ticket reseller with no authority over seat allocation.Yet they still sell “premium seating” packages as if the seat location is guaranteed. When I complained, I received the same scripted lines repeatedly:“Section 007 is premium”“WWE supplied the seating layout”“WWE controlled the configuration”These replies only confirm that Sportsnet cannot guarantee the very product they are selling. To make matters worse, instead of resolving the issue, Sportsnet asked me to remove my review — which says everything about how they handle complaints. Rather than fix problems, they try to silence unhappy customers. If I had been shown the true seating location beforehand, I would never have spent this amount of money. The package was massively overpriced, misleading, and absolutely not what was advertised.Be very cautious. What Sportsnet promises and what they actually deliver can be two completely different things. As a reseller without control over seating, they should not be selling “premium” seats they cannot guarantee.Avoid.My response to sportnet At a minimum, Sportsnet should provide transparent disclosure prior to purchase that seating arrangements are outside their control and that they function solely as a reseller, relying entirely on the event’s official ticketing provider.I will have no further contact with Sportsnet.
