I took the course on Spanish version.I fully recommend it. The effort "behind the scenes" is tremendous to simplify the learning experience based on William Lilly's work, Deborah Houlding and STA tutors examples and especially all the dedication of my tutor Maria Blaquier to unleash all the details and complexities to learn the Traditional Astrology.Great experience, that enrich my point of view of astrology.
I'm extremely happy that I chose the STA Horary course. It's a thorough and challenging course—in a good way—that's led to much growth in my own astrology practice. The staff/tutors were engaged and supportive throughout, whether during the live ZOOM sessions, or afterwards. Deb and the tutors were quick to give feedback on assignments, and quick to answer messages. And all were incredibly generous in sharing their own stories from their practices over the years. This course was a great investment in myself, and one that I'm very pleased to recommend.
From the beginning I felt that I was entering a new world of knowledge, very different from what I was used to, serious, well organized, with clear concepts that allowed me to analyze horary charts more efficiently.I must emphasize that the course would not have been the same if it had not been given by María Blaquier. Her collaborative, enthusiastic, pleasant and understanding attitude towards the difficulties we encountered, always helping us with her own experience, was invaluable.The interaction with the other participants was also very important. In short, a very valuable experience that allows me to come a little closer to considering myself a real "astrologer".
I came into STA horary as a pre-requisite for the medical course. I was quickly humbled in my opinion that I knew a thing or two about horary and this would be a nice revision. The material - presented in a calm and manageable fashion - turned out to be astonishingly deep and thorough; all very magical really! I do love a good "aha!!" moment, and there were plenty of those. There were no corners cut in the content of this course which has provided the added benefit of informing my understanding of natal astrology through elucidating and inspiring presentations of some concepts which I previously struggled to fully grasp. So much gratitude for the dedication and professionalism which have gone into making this an exceptional learning experience. As I begin the STA medical course next week, I go forth with absolute faith that I am in the best hands for another leap of learning. Big thanks to all tutors for your encouragement and timely support. Thanks to other participants for lively engagement on the forum with interesting charts and camaraderie. Particular thanks to Deb for all you have done, and continue to do, to keep the spirit of astrology happy, healthy and wise - and compassionate!
For the student, beginner or advanced, there will be a before and after this course. Not only is the content organised, selected and presented with excellence, but also with the highest sensitivity and on topics that can be felt as evidence that the techniques work. Each session involves a personal challenge of self-improvement, designed with expertise and years of experience that can be felt. The student grows, week by week, not only in knowledge but also in self-confidence. The solidity, presence and friendly spirit of all the tutors and teachers make the course an absolutely recommendable alternative. My experience with the School of Traditional Astrology has been exceptional. I came to the STA with a background in traditional natal astrology and magickal astrology, and found not only techniques but also interpretive concepts, that have greatly grown my current practice and understanding. I found the tutors to be approachable and extremally knowledgeable about Horary and astrology in general. I came here thinking that I was going to sail through this course and I was happily challenged and inspired to continue my study of Horary. This course is phenomenal and well worth the investment. The materials were clearly communicated and the instructors were excellent. I learned so much through the weekly instruction, practice charts, and tests. I not only have a better understanding of horary but it leveled up my understanding of astrology in general (especially in aspects of timing which was my goal for taking the course). I highly recommend it.

You'll get plenty of valuable reading material that you can come back to when necessary. If you want to learn Horary, this course is definitely the best choice and an excellent place to start.
I was looking for horary courses for a few years before I embarked with STA. I could have not made a better choice! Sessions are full of wisdom and absolutely perfectly concentrated to get the most out of each topic! Tutors are knowledgeable, relatable, and encouraging. Time flew by and I feel a little sad it's over. I see myself staying with STA for much longer! Thank you to all at STA for such a wonderful experience.
