I am absolutely appalled by the level of rudeness and unprofessional conduct I experienced at Staples in Durham, NC — in particular from Mr. Amir Moniri. His behavior was dismissive, disrespectful, and entirely unacceptable for someone representing your company in a managerial capacity.
The interaction was so inappropriate that I was genuinely close to filing a lawsuit. No customer should ever be subjected to such degrading and hostile treatment. It is alarming that a company like Staples would place someone with such poor judgment and lack of professionalism in a position of authority.
If this is the standard of management at your Durham, NC location, it reflects extremely poorly on the company as a whole. At this rate, Staples will continue to lose customer trust and business due to failures in leadership and accountability.
This matter deserves serious attention. I expect a formal response and clear action taken to address this conduct.

Placed an order in the UK - yet for some unknown reason, Staples cancels the order? I query why they cancelled the order, considering there was no issue with the payment. They can't tell me why they cancelled the order, as they don't know why! Online team blame the warehouse, yet, neither the warehouse nor the online team can give any rationale as to why. Gave them a further opportunity to explain, so I as a customer could know if this was going to be reflective of their approach going forward. They came back and still cannot explain why they cancelled the order? Fine this is how you permanently lose customers and leads to the eventual collapse of a company, because if you don't know why, when it is your system, then clearly, you just don't deserve future customer business. I for one will be permanently shopping elsewhere.
Horrible management (Steven). Came in to make 2 copies, as the only 2 copiers were occupied for over 15min I attempted to get 1 of 3 associates behind copy counter to make a QUICK copy. Was instructed by male associate that I would have to come back tomorrow to pick up 2 5X5 photo copies. When asked to speak with management Steven and informing him of the 2 individuals at the copiers, 1 just looking at his phone and the other scrolling through I asked if he could simply make 2 copies for me as we are a business next door. He instructed me that what I said was irrelevant in regards to the other 2 individuals at copiers and he was unable to help. Will now make a point of going to Office Max and although business is only a few feet away I will not patron this establishment. Poor excuse for management. Corp. Headquarters has been notified of Stevens poor management skill sets. Other social media platforms will be utilized to share negative experience of this location.
If I could, I'd give Staples minus 100 rating. There firm doesn't cancel an order request when it is cancelled way before shipment and then, they don't show any cancellation on the order online. I have proof of every contact with them. Then, when they finally agree on a chat that it is cancelled, they indicate that I will get a refund in 7 days. After spending days on phone calls almost a month's time, I find out there was never a charge.
I purchased a cash register from Staples in Pittsburgh, PA and the clerk suggested I add the 2 yr extended warranty which includes technical assistance. I added it because I knew I would need assistance programming it. I called the number and was told that they couldn’t and wouldn’t assist me with programming. I know there are incentives for selling these plans but am disappointed that the clerk was untruthful to get the sale. I am hesitant to shop at Staples in the future.
