Not only took care of all the bureaucracy and proceedings, but they renovated the apartment with an amazing touch of class and design. Our stay at this Ukio flat was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived.

The toilet was not working when we checked in. Instead of starting our trip comfortably, we were immediately dealing with a major sanitation issue. The smell was unbearable and made the apartment impossible to use properly. We contacted customer service right away, but the response was slow and unhelpful. There was no sense of urgency, no real solution offered, and no meaningful support during the situation.

To make matters worse, the online lock ( which isn’t convenient) stopped working as, according to customer service the building was offline. This left me and my little son to urgently stay with a friend late at night not having anywhere to go. We had not been given a physical key.

The most upsetting part is that my young son was exposed to the constant smell from the broken toilet. He was extremely distressed by it and is now genuinely upset whenever the topic comes up. No family should have to deal with that during what is supposed to be a comfortable stay. We couldn’t stay in the flat at all for the whole first week.

Overall, this experience showed us the worst experience we’ve ever had and customer service kept saying ‘ we live to assist you, and you are our priority’ without doing anything. After one week they had the toilet fixed. After the issue with the WiFi and being locked out, I wasn’t even offered a compensation.

We moved in for 3 months in their flat in Calle Velasquez in Madrid with my wife and my 3 year old daughter.
First there is no functioning washing machine, and they committed to fix it but one month in nothing happened.
Then the bathroom room door was blocked with vital meds inside. For 3 days they asked us to stay at home to wait for a technician. And no one turned up.
Then a bedroom window can’t close for the last 10 days, with subzero temperatures outside. So now we are sleeping the 3 of us in a tiny bed. They are not even considering compensating us. Shame on them! Now I am filing formal complaint to the local authorities, Don’t book with them.

UNRELIABLE AND DECEPTIVE
I seldom write reviews, but this service warrants one. The rental agency is not trustworthy. My experience with them was a complete drain on my time and energy. They mishandled my payment and provided misleading information. I booked a month-long rental and paid in full (€8132), submitting all necessary documents. I received confirmation that everything was in order and was told to expect a confirmation email. However, they do not issue any form of payment or reservation confirmation.
A concerning sign I initially ignored was their request for a 5-star review before my reservation was even confirmed. After completing my booking, communication ceased. Prior to payment, I was contacted daily, but afterward, I received no updates.
After a week of silence, I reached out multiple times via email and messaging for an update, but got no reply. Contacting the company by phone was nearly impossible, and when I finally spoke with someone, I was told I would receive an update by the end of the day, which never happened. Subsequent calls went unanswered. It took 12 days post-booking to finally hear back, during which Mel shockingly asked, "what apartment did you book?" I had to insist she check her emails for the details. After expressing my frustration and asking to speak with a manager, I received an email stating my reservation was canceled, despite previous assurances it would be approved. Honestly, I felt relieved to get the cancellation given the poor customer service. Afterward, I researched the agency and found numerous reviews echoing my experience, raising suspicions about their positive feedback. Notably, the price of the apartment I booked surged by 90% online. They also failed to respond to my inquiry about my refund. A week later, I got a generic email, but still no refund. It’s been 28 DAYS since my booking and payment. After asking a manager about the refund, Mel stopped responding, and I never heard from a manager despite being told they would reach out. This lack of communication is deceptive. I had to dispute the charge through my bank to try to get my money back, which remains unpaid.
1. Avoid sharing any financial information.
2. Be skeptical about the availability and prices listed online; some properties are marked unavailable on more reputable sites.
3. Don’t fall for their pressure tactics to secure a quick booking; they prioritize getting your money.
4. After booking, expect delays in communication and be cautious if they do respond.
Be wary of the information provided by their representative, as their methods can be misleading. The complete absence of communication and failure to refund after payment represents unacceptable business practices, resulting in a significant waste of my time and energy. This agency shows a blatant disregard for customer trust and should not be relied upon for your travel arrangements.

Avoid at all costs.

Avoid at all costs. The contract permits them to move you to any other apartment. Additionally, there is a "max noise level of 35Db" with a penalty of 5000EUR (note: a fridge produces 40Db of noise).
