Gary came to help with my breakdown today. He was punctual, helpful and gave a first class service. He towed me to the garage of my choice and spoke to the mechanic on my behalf and organised a hire car for me to collect. First class service and an asset to the AA.

I booked an MOT and service through AA Smart Care Ref: 2571555 specifically for the 'hassle-free' collection and delivery. It has been a complete disaster. My car was collected on Wednesday the 25th and was supposed to be returned today at 1 pm. It is now a week later, and I still don’t have my vehicle.
The communication between the AA and their garage network is shambolic. I’ve had to do all the chasing myself. The garage claims the AA is unresponsive to emails, and I had to personally call the AA just to get the paperwork moving for work that was only 'recommended' and not even essential.
As a mother with a brand-new baby and a six-year-old, this has caused significant hardship. I have spent over £100 on taxis and, even worse, I have physically injured myself struggling to get a newborn in and out of taxis twice a day in a car seat because I’ve been left stranded.
This service cost me £200 and was sold as a 'convenient' alternative, but it has cost me more in money, time, and health than any local garage ever would. I expect a full refund and compensation for my taxi expenses and the distress caused."

He also practiced an excellent duty of care. Example of due to my mobility issues he waited for the Garage to confirm Battery Fault. Then offered to drop me home.

I’ve been a member of the AA for many years but never had motor insurance with them before but after receiving a very large increase on my premium I decided to see what the AA could do and was pleasantly surprised to receive a quote which was significantly lower. The process was easy to do from the website and I now have insurance to go with my AA breakdown cover

I broke down on the M11 at roundabout 3 PM. called the AA out and they pinpointed me couldn’t understand the gentleman that I was speaking to cause he had a broken English, which was very frustrating as I was on the motorway and very frightened,the patrol never came until two hours later the AA phoned me up to say that they was on their way between 10 and 20 minutes but they couldn’t find me so could I please pinpoint them again then 10 minutes later the AA phoned me up again and said that the driver can’t find me so could I dropped a pin point again, with all this technology in this world,and they couldn’t find me,I was waiting on a motorway for two hours. This is not acceptable. I was alone woman on her own with numerous people stopping behind me,I was very frightened and worried for my safety.

Only trouble I had was getting hold of the AA as was in an area with no WiFi so could not get help would be lovely to be able to speak to a person.
So I had to phone my husband to get help from the AA.
Saying that Matt was brilliant.
