Disappointing Experience at a Local Eatery

On December 27, 2025, while returning to Montreal, we decided to stop at a local eatery in Woodstock NB for lunch. My wife chose the Piri Piri chicken bowl, and I opted for a 7-inch sub along with two bottles of water. I observed as the staff prepared my sandwich, using three pieces of each cold cut and three condiments—nothing more. After receiving our order, we struggled to find a clean table since they were all dirty. The total came to $30.05, which felt a bit pricey for a quick lunch. When my wife opened her bowl, it was only filled a third of the way, prompting me to take a photo as proof. The quality of both the bowl and my sandwich was mediocre; the only redeeming aspect was the two bottles of water. This experience has led us to decide not to return.

Severely understaffed and unclean

Severely understaffed. They often don't have what you order. At least one ingredient is usually missing or out of stock. Today, they had only one type of bun available, and all the festive sub ingredients were not in stock. This was at 11am! It couldn't have sold out. The staff appeared unkempt as well, with greasy hair and long hair not covered. I walked away in the end. This was at a location in a garage.

Fantastic delivery experience

I received a delivery from a location today, and I ordered the festive sub, which was fantastic. The only downside was that the cranberry sauce was a bit too sweet and runny, but otherwise, it was perfect. I wish it were available all the time.

Disappointing lunch experience

At a location in the city center, I paid £7.29 for a bland sub with no tomato or mayo. I ordered at the terminal, but the coffee machine was not working. It was a dreadful lunch.
