It's been six months since I purchased the mattress; it feels decent so far. However, the customer service is a major concern. If your order goes smoothly, they will respond to all calls, but if something goes wrong, they stop answering. They seem indifferent to customer issues. Be cautious!
The after-sales service is very poor. They seem to care only before the sale. Customer care does not respond to requests for damaged product returns. Their logistics partner's delivery service is also problematic. I advise against purchasing from this company.
You feel cheated, when you order something after reading much reviews; with great expectations. Alas! this has hit me lately, all of their reviews on the internet were mostly paid reviews; only to mislead unsuspecting buyers like me. The courier partners that they use is even worse Gati-KWE. They together lie over the emails, even when you talk to their customer support representatives, they lie. They give you an assurance of delivery as x date and then the date becomes x+1, x+2, then they quote something saying that it is your fault that you didn't read our website carefully. They will also give you the impression that they are with you but they are never with you, you are all alone, these people are not interested in you, they only want your hard earned money.It will be the customer's fault always, so don't make the mistake that I made.
Like anyone else, I decided to do a great deal of research prior to actually making a purchase. Eventually, the Sunday Rest Mattress specification seemed appealing, and then there was a free trial period. Even if I made a mistake in selecting it, I could return it within the first 100 nights. Before buying, I also tried out the mattress in the experience center. I've been using the mattress for more than 2 months now. So far, there have been no complaints from my side. Whenever you sit on the mattress, it sinks in like clouds however, when you lay down to sleep, it is somewhere between firm and soft. It does not sink in fully, but it is soft enough to relieve your back after a tiring day. Unlike a standard spring mattress, these mattresses are efficient even while sitting on them to read or work.

It's the first gesture that pursued us to stick to this company. Although the man that delivered the mattress was anticipating a tip, the shipment went smoothly. So, onto the mattress: after a long contemplation time of more than 6 months where the representative was patient and polite throughout, I eventually decided to try it out and buy it. It was completely worth it! I often had intense back and neck problems that have now subsided, and I start my day feeling more refreshed than ever before. I've tried and tested many kinds of mattresses before the Sunday Rest Mattress and it turns out the Sunday Rest Mattress is the finest one out there. The customer service was very helpful throughout the purchasing process. They were friendly and professional. They replied and cleared all of our doubts since the login to delivery of the mattress. My advice to everyone else is that you should indulge in this mattress and company blindly.
I made the painful mistake of buying a mattress from Sunday in October 2018. No less than their best offering LATEX PLUS 3 MATTRESS. It seemed like a smart buy in the beginning, but come 2019 end, the mattress had sagged on one side. I thought, no problem – it’s got a 10-year warranty, but I was naive. Then started the hellish experience of getting the company to even check the defect. They basically make it impossible for you to get any redressal after a year of use. The sagging has to be more than an INCH, a centimeter off and you have no rights. I was told to read the warranty guidelines properly, which is basically their whole website.Nevertheless, I sent them the pictures and videos of the mattress, using different angles and savvy methods to show the defect. They agree there is a chance the sagging is more than an inch. Some relief. But now they wanted to check it with their special instruments (Whatever they are) and for that, you have to send the mattress back to Bangalore at your own expense if you live in any other city, in my case Mumbai. They literally have no representative in any of the cities in India. I was surprised again and, again I was told to check their website FAQs. It’s all there. I was the one who missed reading it thoroughly. I didn’t do my homework properly.After talking to them for a month, I finally transported the mattress back to them in March 2020. They arranged for the pick-up service by their courier partners and I had to pay for it. Why did I pay? It’s all stated clearly in a nook of their website of course. Such a bad reader I am!Owing to Covid-19, transportation was slow, so I waited patiently. It’s the end of September and I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE INSPECTION. The courier company tried to deliver the defective mattress to Sunday, but couldn’t. My suspicion is Sunday refused to take it. Since then, they’ve stopped replying to my emails and their phones don’t work. They have even started selling some home furniture since working from home became a thing. They are clearly active and dealing with new customers. But old customers are useless to them.I even wrote to their CEO Alphonse Reddy, but he doesn’t care either. The inefficiency and ineptness trickle down from the top it seems. I came across a rather amusing read on Quora where he passionately writes how “they are a young team trying to make a difference.” BEWARE, the only difference they will make is filling their coffers with your hard-earned money. In my case – Rs.49999 PLUS a sore back.Don’t fall into the snazzy marketing trope like “Designed by the Japanese.” Your local cotton gadda wala has more integrity and quality control than these Upstarts.PS. I’ve become an avid reader of their hugely informative website. I AM STILL FINDING NEW THINGS THAT UNDERMINE THE CUSTOMER.
