It's early days as a user, but we have been very happily surprised at the ease and diversity of uses of Sunflower AI for our Sunday church services and evangelistic events.
Sunflower AI is not only enabling us to make our services and talks accessible to those learning English, which we could never do before, but it also increases the understanding and learning for those of use whose preferred learning style is visual (written) rather than auditory, who struggle with background noise or hearing loss, whose heart language is not English, who are distracted by children's needs or who benefit from a written transcript to reflect on or discuss with others later.
So appreciate that the QR code links straight to the translation in a browser without needing a login or app. Great that you can open the QR code at the link for others sitting near you, to scan if people have missed the QR code on the screen previously.
The live audio or written translation (even as a remote user, if isolated by illness or geographically, the translation of documents, the simultaneous transcript of both English and a target language on a split screen and then very timely, hands on, patient support, over the phone that Chuhao has provided, have been so helpful.
Very much appreciate that the Sunflower AI are constantly adding languages and functions too.

The historic Gafcon Global G26 Conference brought together delegates from across the world, and so using Sunflower AI enabled participants from all nations to experience accurate, real-time translation that was flawless. It was a joy for me to be able to showcase an Australian invention on the world stage, and to have it perform so well for the benefit of the Global Anglican Communion at this important moment in church history.
Transcription of speech to text has been a real boon for those who are hard of hearing to be able to follow or catch parts of the service they are missing, in the very subtle way by having the transcript appearing on their phone or tablet.
Very easy to set up and use. Appreciate the ability to reference the prepared transcript to add context to the translation. Some of the more colloquial or informal phrases are not yet translated perfectly, but that’s completely understandable given we’re still in the early stages of AI translation. I have full confidence this app will continue to improve over time, and I’m happy to provide ongoing, detailed feedback to help its development.
Sunflower AI live translation works really well. I sat at the back the church using it with my iPhone and it was able to pick up everything that was said at the front. Of course it isn’t 100% accurate as AI cannot fully understand context of some words but this is totally understandable given what it was translating. Overall great for use for organisations but a bit expensive for personal use. Would be great if the creator can make a subscription available for personal use. I definitely recommend SunFlower AI for translations.
We trialled Sunflower AI for 3 months before we went live last week. The live translation/transcription is very impressive and accurate. Our specific requirement that attracted us to Sunflower AI was the automatic switching of different input languages. We wanted to provide the church members with a truly unified experience with genuine equality of languages. We think of it as having a 'universal translator' as we have 5 different languages in our combined services. We saw this as an essential step to build trust and break down the barriers of communication. I have been impressed with the speed of development and the keenness of Chuhao to understand and produce an excellent service which is both cutting-edge and fit-for-purpose
