I bought a case for a device from the seller on a popular platform in February 2025. It had some minor shipping-related issues, but they resolved them quickly. Recently, I reached out regarding other concerns, and they helped me right away with minimal questions. Outstanding customer service. I appreciate that they stand behind their products.
I explored a 3-in-1 kit and a robotics model, and both exceeded my expectations with their outstanding online tutorials. My child, who is 6 years old, handled most of the assembly while I assisted with some coding and logic. He enjoyed watching the car track a black line and had fun designing a course with intersections. By tweaking the logic, we observed how the car navigates different paths at forks. The customization and interaction with the programming tools are fantastic. There are numerous projects included, and the ease of modifying the code provides an exceptional learning opportunity.
I experimented with a 3-in-1 Arduino kit and the Picar-X. Both are fantastic and come with excellent online tutorials. My child (6 years old) handled most of the assembly while I assisted with some coding and logic. He enjoyed watching the Arduino car track a black tape/line and creating a course with intersections. By adjusting the logic, we could see how the car navigates different paths at the fork. Customizing and engaging with the LLM is wonderful. These kits offer numerous projects, and the ability to easily modify the code provides an exceptional learning experience.
This product is fantastic and my go-to for testing or using any Raspberry Pi equipment due to its speed. It comes with clear instructions and was assembled in about an hour, which was impressive. The thoughtful design ensures everything fits perfectly. The support team was excellent when I reached out. Additional software installs easily and activates after a reboot. The LEDs look stunning. Building and setting up my Pironman 5-MAX has been a joy. They are easy to assemble, and the software installation guides are straightforward. I'm so impressed that I now have three units running. One is configured with Openmediavault as a Raid 1 using two 4TB drives for important data. The second also has Openmediavault and PLEX for movie playback, with two 4TB drives in Raid 0 for ample storage. The third runs Raspberry PI OS (legacy, 64-bit) Full for internet access and PLEX on my large TV. This setup works perfectly for me. I'm thrilled to have discovered the Pironman 5-MAX.
The case is so appealing that I nearly considered using it as a display piece instead of for my boat's small Pi server — I'm likely to purchase another just for showcasing. What I appreciate: assembly took under an hour and was enjoyable. The instructions are clear, and even as a beginner, I had no issues installing the GitHub packages to operate the LEDs, fans, and OLED. All rear ports are accessible, and you can route a ribbon cable to the Pi’s GPIO header. I definitely plan to get a second unit for display.
