Superprof debits you 60 EUR monthly without communication, without email, without anything informing you are "enrolled" and debited.They count on the fact that users do not notice they got scammed by them.This is unacceptable, I want my 600 EUR back.
As a tutor I am quite happy with the platform. It is easy to use and, if you pay for the premium version, you don't get your students charged for each lesson. Im also happy with the amount of contacts I get from it.An important downside is that you can only propose and schedule one lesson at a time: you propose a date, the student accepts, you propose a second date, student accepts, etc... This is very time consuming when your student bought a pack of 5 or 10 lessons. I wish I could propose several dates for my courses in one go and the student accepting them (or not) in one go as well. It would be much more efficient.
I’ve been registered as a teacher on Superprof for about a year now. I started working as a freelance teacher around the same time, and Superprof played a key role in helping me find my very first students, which I’m really grateful for.The platform is very user-friendly and intuitive, both for teachers and students, and I genuinely enjoy using it.One point I would love to see improved concerns the visibility of teachers’ qualifications and experience. I hold a Master’s degree in language education and professional teaching certifications, and my lesson prices are therefore set a bit higher. However, it can sometimes be difficult for students to clearly see the difference between professionally trained teachers and those teaching more casually as a hobby at very low rates.It would be great if Superprof allowed teachers to upload certificates and display verification badges on their profiles. This would help students better understand what justifies different pricing levels and make more informed choices.
