At all times Peter Grout Smith and his team kept me fully up to date and any problems were quickly and efficiently sorted.I had previously failed to complete on 3 other potential homes but having someone like Peter who knows the Poundbury market so well I can thoroughly recommend their services, knowledge and skills.Thank you so much for your expertise and kindness throughout.
Steve and Isobella from the Bridport office have been an incredible duo, leading to the successful sale of my property in challenging market conditions. I received regular updates throughout the marketing and conveyancing process and nothing was too much trouble for them. Isobella in particular went above and beyond once the sale was agreed, to make sure administrative issues were dealt with in my absence, due to being remote from the property.
Daniel Magee and his team were very friendly responsive and proactive through all the highs and lows of finding, securing and completing on our dream home. Daniel was particularly tenacious with vendors who were dragging their heels on the sales process and was very instrumental in getting us over the line. We sold and bought our houses this year with Symonds and Sampson in Bridport. Though we initially wanted to go with purple bricks to save money, I was impressed with the argument Daniel made for using a local estate agent, and the decision was absolutely the right one. Daniel had people in mind who were looking for a property like ours and he was able to secure a sale for us within two weeks of putting it on the market. The service was speedy and efficient, Isobella marketed it beautifully for us and the whole team were helpful and friendly throughout the process. They also advised and negotiated when needed, making the process as pain free as possible.
The staff at Symonds & Sampson Ilminster were consistently outstanding: efficient, supportive, light hearted and endlessly reassuring. I have moved house multiple times over a long life but these guys outshone any previous estate agents. To summarise in 2 words: they cared. I would make a special mention of first and foremost Jonathon and also Georgie and Julie.
Firstly, I have to say, Symonds & Sampson didn't sell our property, (long story), BUT Daniel was amazing. His help and advice was far superior to the help and advice we received off Callum from Goadsbys estate agents, who were selling our property. Callum did more to help our buyers than he did to help us. After the first viewing, Goadsbys advice was to drop the price of our property. Throughout the whole process of selling our property, I had to chase Callum for updates. When I rang to speak with him, I was told 'he's currently out, but will call you back once he's back in the office.We got to the stage where we went to Symonds and Sampson and asked them to sell for us.Once they had our property on their books, Goadsbys rang to say they had a buyer.We were messed about constantly by Goadsbys.We went to Daniel for advice several times, he was brilliant. He helped us far more than Callum. I can't thank Daniel enough for helping us through what was a very long and arduous time. Bear in mind, Symonds and Sampson were NOT our estate agents.
