I bought a Penn Spinfisher reel. Unfortunately, the reel is defective (does not turn properly – as if something is wrong in the gear mechanism). The reel definitely has a fault and is unusable. The seller has not responded to several emails and phone calls. Fortunately, I paid with PayPal and got my money back after two months through buyer protection. No recommendation at all. This is almost fraud.
I recently made an online purchase from Tackle Deals and had a problem most of which as it later transpired was my own fault. I couldn't rate the customer service that I received highly enough. The patience and high level of communication was beyond comparison. Andreas who dealt with my issues is in my opinion an unique employee who went way beyond the the bounds of normal service to ensure that I was satisfied.
I bought a rod here at a discount, thinking that the price difference was worth any potential hiccups in customer service. There was an issue with the rod and it broke under minum stress and they actually send me a new one free of charge within 24 hours. Would recommend and buy here again

Look, the website is a touch lumpy because there are so many products, and in my case, it all has to be translated and doesn't seem to work on the 3rd level, but I cannot fault the prices, the customer service or the fact that a living person gets back to you quickly who is a decision maker and has flexibility and common sense - its rare. Well done tackle-deals, its my second purchase and it won't be my last.I recommend them totally!
