Absolutely do not trust this service. They charged my card without my permission, starting with a £0.00 'verification,' then two days later a £34.90 charge for something I never agreed to. When I contacted customer support, I encountered an incredibly rude representative who was indifferent to resolving the issue. This is unacceptable and feels like a scam. Avoid them at all costs.
Scam, somehow state you have subscribed to their website, I think I was trying to read an article, said to enter you have to pay Apple Pay £0.00 when you do this they charge you £34.90 subscription charge. My bank said wait see if they take it out after I unsubscribed the day after by email. Eventually I’d disappeared from pending, a couple of days later showed as taken. Not exactly sure how to proceed now. My bank said they couldn’t refuse it when pending Nat West but others say that their bank refused to pay out ??
I didn’t subscribe to this company, yet somehow they took 3 “subscription” payments of £34.90 through ApplePay, so have clearly piggybacked onto something else. The company number on their website relates to a marketing company “Telenex Limited”, a marketing company. It is impossible to get through on any listed phone number, but I found the confirmation email in my spam folder and identified an email address for their customer service team. Their response tried to suggest that they only took money by me going through a 2-step verification process to sign up and authorise payment, which I most certainly didn’t. It was also unclear what good or service they were even supposedly providing. They refunded my money without too much fuss (although I had to chase for 2 of them and they never admitted any liability) and cancelled my “subscription”. I had threatened to report them to the fraud team at my bank but, in reality, as I got my money back and it was overall a small value, the bank would not have followed up anyway. This is how operations like this get away with it.
This is indeed a scam. I have had exactly the same experience as many other reviewers. I have no idea how they got my card details.have blocked the attempted charge of€34.90 with my cc provider but weekly there is an attempt to debit it.Avoid at all costs.
