I was delighted when I discovered TeraBox, so much so that I subscribed as a premium member a few months ago. Over a period of about 2 months I moved over 1,000 videos and 2,000 photos from my phone to finally free up some space. Suddenly 2 days ago TeraBox wouldn’t let me log in. It was saying the password was wrong. I tried everything to troubleshoot it without any success. I wrote to TeraBox via the AppStore, no response. I sent them a message on their Facebook page and also an email. Days later I received a pre-written response which was of absolutely no use. “Check the username and password you are using are correct etc” things that I had specifically told them I’d done when troubleshooting. I cleared the cache, deleted the app, redownloaded the app, nothing. I completed the “reset my password” link so that a reset email would be sent to me. No email received. I have pleaded with them to help me get this sorted, because those photos and videos are now deleted from my devices. TeraBox have been absolutely useless and they couldn’t care less about my photos and videos. For anyone even considering purchasing a premium membership of TeraBox, I advise you to seriously consider whether your stored items will be safe. What is actually the point if you have to keep things backed-up somewhere else just in case?? I really wish I hadn’t trusted these clowns. The only positive thing is that I’ve been given a full refund for my paid monthly subscriptions. *edit following TeraBox response* TeraBox has now stated that my issue has been resolved and that they have sent me a verification code to my email. Neither of these claims is true. I have checked every mailbox folder for such an email but there is nothing there. As for the issue being resolved, they must be referring to the fact that I was refunded for my premium payments. They are certainly not referring to me having gained access to my account! Photos and videos have NOT been recovered**Edit #2** I finally received a password reset email after several days. I have now been able to access my data and I have saved elsewhere. There was definitely a problem with emails being sent and received, and despite being told on several occasions that verification emails had been sent, they were not being received. However, as this problem finally got sorted I am willing to ‘let this go’. Sometimes I think it’s better for a company to just be honest about technical issues, rather than making repeated denials and implying user error.
Full of ads its a pure scam you need to give all permissions so they can collect all uour personal data photos, contacts, videos etc.. its a chinese funded company india needs to ban it please do report in cybercrime department so they can remove this fraud app. its a threat to india and it's users.Edited:Don't try to fool us we all know, Stop your services in India you chinese frauds.😡
