Hippie Shake is my all-time favourite clothes shop. I have been ordering from them for 4+ years. The designs are stunning, material is insane quality, they never use real animal products (fur, leather, etc), and are sustainable, so are vegan-friendly. Shipping has always been speedy. I have ordered from there a dozen times, and from their reloved site a couple of times, and never had any issues. They frequently release new collections and every piece seems to have thought and love poured into its creation.
The -1 star is is only relevant for fellow XXS girlies.
I can't give it four stars because, unfortunately, they are not the most size-inclusive. They go down to a size 6 only, so every dress I buy that is supposed to be fitted, I have to pay to get altered. It has cost me a fortune (I know, I need to learn how to do it myself!). The jeans are the same unfortunately, and the belts look strange as they have to gather so much material. I appreciate they are a small company, but size 6 always seems to sell-out first, so I am sure there are lots of others who would appreciate this choice. I would buy 10x more items if I knew they would look right on me and didn't have to pay an extra amount to get it altered to fit right (I swear their 'size 6' jeans are more like a size 8). I will add that their size 6 jumpsuits fit great for a size 4s, just nothing else unless it is meant to be baggy.
After many months of visiting the hippie shake site I finally clicked purchase on the Penny Lane Coat. As someone from the US and not super familiar with UK sizing I relied heavily on the measurements listed on the website to choose my size. Deciding to size up so that I could layer it with sweaters, the fit is perfect.
My coat arrived promptly and exactly as pictured on the site.
Not only is the coat beautiful and comfortable, it is very warm. I was recently unexpectedly caught in a rain storm and while the coat itself got wet, I stayed dry underneath. The green did bleed a little on the arms into the fur cuffs after so I wouldnโt recommend wearing it if you know youโre going to get wet.
All in all I would 100% recommend the hippie shake. The clothing is beautiful and well made and Iโm looking forward to purchasing more items from them. I only wish that the pants offered multiple inseam lengths because Iโm too tall to wear the size they offer.

The fabric feels wonderful, and the items (I purchased two coats) have a great weight and truly feel high quality. Once I have the funds again, I will certainly be ordering from you again :)

The transaction was seamless, tracked, and the shipping time was reasonable (within the stated timeframe). The item was well packaged. The coat is stunning, sturdy, and warmโmaking it perfect for daily wear rather than just special occasions. It's incredibly soft and, unlike traditional options, it's light to wear. I've received so many compliments! The coat is worth every penny, a luxurious item for me as a gift :)
This has officially become my favorite brand. The delivery just brought the dress of my dreams and Iโm over the moon! Itโs a bit on the pricier side, but with all taxes and international shipping costs (Iโm from Germany) included, there are no unpleasant surprises at the door. Iโm absolutely in love!!!
I've loved this brand for years; I own countless items and every piece has been of exceptional quality and some of the most beautiful clothing I've ever seen. I couldn't recommend them more if you're looking for unique, beautiful, and durable clothes!
