I've been looking for a natural deodorant to replace a product by Lush and was struggling to do so until I discovered The Ilex Wood - Spiced Patchouli natural deodorant.
It's great because it comes without plastic, works well and smells really great.
It arrived quickly after ordering and everything about the Ilex Wood is fantastic.
I really like supporting a business who has brilliant products and good, ethical business models.
I will be buying more from this company, without a doubt.

The products arrive well packed and with a lovely personal message. My daughter in law found this company and I have since reordered. I’ve tried the face moisturiser - rose and frankincense and the eye serum with cacay. It’s great to find clean natural product which help to nourish. My skin feels amazing after use and I will continue to use this company.
I purchased an order from Ilex Wood but decided not to order again as it was not to my liking. Back in November I received an email saying another order was about to be dispatched so I emailed back to say I hadn't ordered anything. Apparently because of a discount I accepted the first time round it meant I had to pay for a minimum of two orders. Okay that's fine. (A refund was also refused even though the order had not yet been dispatched). The money had already been collected from my account for this second order but after numerous emails (some of which were answered, some were not) I still did not receive the order paid for. I was told initially that although payment had been collected from my bank account they didn't think I wanted the order!! Their reasoning was because I had told them 'please make sure that no further items are posted to me and that you do not automatically take any future payments as I do not wish to purchase any more items from Ilex Wood'. Really!! If they thought I didn't want the order already paid for then why not issue a refund? To this day I have not received the order or a refund.
I'm so disappointed with this product. It's soft and sticky and therefore difficult to apply, its deodorising properties are negligible and the fragrance is barely discernible. I've had much more success with cheaper deodorant sticks in the past. I thought I'd try one that was a bit more of a premium product and this is the first time I've used Ilex Wood. Unfortunately it will be the first and last time. A shame.
